HotSix GSL Season 1 Code S winner MVPDongRaeGu treated his fans to pizzas.
DRG bought pizzas for fans who attended the GSTL Season 1 Round of 8 Group A Winner’s Round MVP vs oGs-TL at the GSL studio in Mok-Dong.
Gom TV has been holding random giveaways at both GSLs and GSTLs to fans with pizza, hamburgers and ice cream. Lee, Hyun Joo, Chae, Jung Won casters have been supporting this act but it is the first time for a player to provide snacks directly to the fans.
DRG expressed his wish to thank “teammates who practised with me after the GSL victory and the fans who have supported me”.
From the title, I thought DRG had bought pizza for everyone in the mok-dong district lol. I was thinking surely he's not THAT rich from winning Code S? Anywho, very nice gesture from him. Sharing wealth is the best way to live life!

Wow this post kinda makes me sad. DRG seems to be one of the kindest and coolest pro-player in SC2. What does it really matter which race he plays ? Shouldnt you be a fan of the player first and foremost ?
Im sorry for being offtopic but this really bothered me..

DRG is really great and amazing. He is always so nice to his fans and he also cares for the foreign community. He was great in GSL OTR and Interviews . ] Now he is the 1st to share his winnings?? He should be the next superhuman :D (after nestea of course...)

I guess the guys who got pizza bought by DongReaGu now have something to tell their great-grandchildren.
"Come here, kid. You know, there once was a time where the zerg nerd baller just won his first championship. At that time he even didn't need to buy new palaces to store his countless trophies." "Come on, grampa, this is booooring." "I saw him once with my own eyes." "Yeahsurerightokay, you need to ..." "... and he bought us pizza. I was 20, but I already reached anything a human can reach."
This is one little cunning kid. Not only just overthrowing the previous zerg god, he intends to have complete control over his followers by winning over their hearts. Soon we will see him showing his true evil nature.
TIME TO CONQUER THE WORLD, MY DEAR ZERG KING YEAHHH!
I was there. I was there the day the pizzas came. Unfortunately I had dental braces fitted the other day so I couldn't really eat it. I found it funny that the Ogs guys were eating DRG's pizza whilst he was ripping through their ranks.

It's the least he could do by giving them pizza... I mean, the entire oGs-team knew in advance that they were going to go through the blender that is DRG-in-a-team-league.

And considering that Korean pizza is pretty good (or so I've heard), those GSTL fans must have gotten quite a treat out of that.
I didn't eat it but it looked pretty good. It also didn't look like he skimped out and just bought cheese and tomato. All the pizzas had proper toppings and shit.

Curse these dental braces.
Why didn't you just ripp them out? Eating those DongRaeGu pizza's would of been the memory of a lifetime. :/

Well that was after me losing to Ganzi 2:0 under 10 minutes lol. But yeah drg is a really chill guy. My experience was that him and MC are so far the most entertaining players to be around. One day I go to Korea I want to eat this DRPizza too.

As a Platinum player who really really wants to get better and at the same time is skeptical about being able to do so, this fires me up. Thanks DRG.

Wonder what the price of 30 pizzas is in korea. I remember someone saying on GSL that it was quite cheap, I'd probably order 30 pizzas for people all the goddamn time if I won GSL.

I am not a good investor.
Goodwill is an investment just as much as any monetary gain. Free pizza = awesome! No other way around it.
There was nothing better than arriving late to the GSL studios with MMA and Gumiho playing, being handed a pizza by one of the girls who worked there. I was amazed by the great hospitality.
Great studio, and DRG just made it that much cooler

Never Dragon in person, so I don't know hahaha
Watch his stream
I do sometimes but streams and face to face are just not the same
Awesome. I was kinda rooting for Genius coz he was the underdog, but DAMN DRG was such a sexy beast all season, and it turns out he's a baller mate too...
Zerg FIGHTING ... Whenever IdrA whines, I watch GSL

That was only for Genius.
Genius did that to him first
DRG promised not to do it again because some people got upset.

Are you freaking kidding? I would dare say the he's quite popular both in Korea and for foreign fans.
I would even go as far as...he's probably THE MOST popular SCII player on the planet right now. And didn't he win "the most popular" award at the GSL Blizzard Cup award ceremony?

I have no idea about who is popular and who isn't in Korea but at least on TL it doesn't feel like DRG is the most popular. Among Koreans MMA, MKP, Boxer and Hero definitely have more fans. Then of course there are the foreigners like Idra, Stephano, White-ra etc.
