Alex is verbose, and you owe it to yourself (and the rest of us) to read the statement in its entirety. Remember, when making comments/claims to provide proper evidence, facts etc. Arguments based on incorrect assumptions, facts and straw men, will be dealt with swiftly. If in doubt, PM a mod or ask IRC. Do NOT spread misinformation, when in doubt, check your sources. In short, be smart. And as much as I like orb as a caster and as a person, I guess I really respect the decision. Kudos.

I really feel bad for Orb but from a business standpoint alone there is no other decision EG can actually make I just hope Orb retains a chance to improve himself in the future. I would hate to see the whole situation make orb's career screwed over though.

You mean Orb damaged his own career? How can the blame not be on anyone but Orb at this point?

The world has changed drastically in the last 20 years... (almost unfathomable) and everyone has to keep up. Thank you for EG for this post and realizing the severity of the situation.

I am not a fan of moves like that, it's a real scumbag thing in my opinion. I am not defending Orb but I somehow feel that if sponsors/money was not involved in this decision we'd see more leniency for what he did while on his own time. People do drastic things when they get upset, especially in a situation like this. I don't they (people who contacted sponsors) did the right thing, but I understand why some reacted that way.

Nobody starts giant shit storms on reddit cause incontrol used to sit there on state of the game and outright call people faggots, that should be viewed as just as vile as this, AND he did it while actually representing EG. This is just a case of him not being popular enough to have his mistakes ignored.

here are many valid reasons to find the word n----- offensive and repulsive, but for me, the overarching reason is that there is no other word that so efficiently and effectively captures such extreme human injustice and inequality. i personaly think this is one of the best lines reguarding that word i ave ever read

Some people just jumped on this welcome opportunity to hurt EG. This community sometimes does its best to hurt itself.
