Hi there! I'm currently ranked 33 in my (ohsogosu) silver league and i play zerg!
Why should you choose me, well that's pretty obvious! To tell the world a new race has emerged, a race that only me can master...this race is named : 100% win!
No more seriously, i'm stuck in silver for several obvious reasons : i can't macro decently, like i have 2k min - 3 k gas banked up, i still got supply blocked, i don't have any BO for any matchup. Well i know i always 14 hatch - 14 pool vs T, and 14 pool - 14 hatch vs P and 14 pool 14 hatch vs Z...but then here comes pure luck!
So basically what i'm searching for is a strong looking on what should i do, when to do it. My aim is to get to master, i know it's a long way, but i can't help thinking about it! I HAVE TO!
It seems to me i can't do it alone, i need a companion, someone on my back to help me during my quest, a real NINJA!
|
hehe that's a nice bio MalditoKyo - thanks! Keep up that attitude - I've placed your name in our list of potential ninjas and will post the winner(s) here.
|
What's up! Hmmm, why should you pick me? Honestly I don't know. Nothing special about me, I am just looking for some good solid tips and maybe replay reviews. I am a gold terran player. I spend more time reading, playing, studying starcraft then I do for my schooling sadly haha =] Final tomorrow and here I am browsing TeamLiquid.
Anywho, it would be uber awesome to play next to two great players. Guarantee that whoever gets picked will learn lots!

Hello. Im Rank 1 as Protoss in my Platinum League at the moment [ lost 30 games in a row ( some on purpose some not ) the day before the new season started, had a rough day irl and in game ]. Before this i was rank 1 Diamond playing masters and winning 60% of the time but the battle.net system didnt promote me :C. Overall im [ it will sound a bit douchy but w/e ] quite a good player, i play in few tournaments sometimes, 2 days ago i've reached 1/8 of Go4PLSC2 which is my most notable achievement because i've beaten a Grandmaster player from Poland - Dejmien here. I have problems with keeping my form stable and improving my play.
Why should you choose/pick me ? I think that im capable of being a good player on the SC2 scene, im quite young+ Show Spoiler +[15 years old since December, yeah i know, some people in my age are already pro but whatever.] so i have the time to improve and make a name for myself, i hope for that. I spend a lot of time on Starcraft, if not playing then watching vod's streams, day9 dailies, lurking through TL.net, browsing through the forums to find some strategies, tips and other useful stuff.+ Show Spoiler +Especially i search for some insight on the matchup we all know and love *sarcasm mode off* PvP, 60% of the games i lost are PvP's I hope that all the time i've spent already on this game will feedback in the positive way for me : >. I don't want to get you guys bored with my little bio, i could've wrote more but you know, the post will get waaay too long. Regards , TheVoice : )

Doesn't sound douchy at all. You've got confidence.

Hello!
I am currently ranked diamond on both my EU accounts and on my NA account.
I started in bronze league and worked my way up with Teran as my race over a period of about 2 seasons, then once I hit diamond I decided to learn Protoss and Zerg. I would say that my main race at the moment is Protoss but I do play allot of Zerg and Random. Strangely I don’t play Terran as much as Z/P anymore. At the time of righting this I have over 3,500 League wins total between my 3 accounts.
I feel I should be chosen as I have put allot of time and effort into SC2 with a goal of breaking into masters for a while now but it has always seemed to be just out of my reach each season.
I would be happy to settle down and play just one race if given the right guidance on my play. At the moment I’m at a bit of a loss of where to turn to get better as I frequently watch Live streams and tournaments such as the GSL/MLG but even after 3,500 League wins I’m still stuck in diamond which to me seems like im doing something wrong. =/
Please help!
Thanks for reading,
JaY.

Thanks for reading,
JaY.
Which race did you win at the most?
|
That’s hard too tell because I play over 3 accounts.
I would say I have more frequent wins with P. When Playing for an extended period of time I more frequently get stacks of wins with Protoss. (as in 6-10 wins in a row) but then when the balance of Bnet is restored and I get a few losses I tend to swap to playing Zerg.
But Protoss is definitely the race I win more with and the race I have the most fun playing.

allright duly noted, thanks!
|
Let's get more apps! This is a free contest and everyone has a chance to get some gosu coaching from Axslav and others!

The thread has dropped from the top 10 under "Starcraft 2" So not many will read this now.
More posts = more views..!!

Hey guys, i have been playing Starcraft for nearly a year now and i am still stuck in gold i play Protoss and play on the EU server as well as i get very nervous when i play 1v1 as i am not very confident in my playing style.
I watch replays/tournaments but clearly i am doing something wrong in my game-play/game-style. I have been entering tournaments and i am always getting half way, never to the final match. If i were chosen for training i would commit myself entirely, i want to be able to enter tournaments feeling confident about myself and my game-play and knowing i can get a high placement which will push me even further to improve myself.
Being a professional gamer is something i would love to do but clearly at the moment i cannot reach my dream without the help of others. If i get chosen for Hardwire Gaming it will be a life change.
Thanks a ton for taking your time to read my post.

Just one more day left for our ONLINE scrimmage contest - winner will be posted tomorrow (March 1 PST).

I can't believe I haven't seen this until today!! I got the email you sent out but I didn't know there was a contest for scrim.
Anyway I am a Silver Terran player who has gone to your last 2 SC2 LANs which were so much fun! I got rolled by VPSuppy on stream round 1 at Zerg Christmas
I am somehow stuck in Silver even though I know my skills are above that level. Even Trump and CatsPajamas said I play better than my league suggests. Since then I've been in a top 8 Diamond 2v2 league with my platinum friend, going up (and sometimes beating) Master's players. Since the new season started, I have been playing 95% random and ironically think my Zerg has gotten to a high gold level... But Terran is still my main race.
I have a lot of passion for SC2 and it's really discouraging getting stuck in Silver even though I know I'm better than that. I think I just need some coaching to help me break through this wall and become a better player! I was planning on stopping by this weekend as I live in Sunnyvale so if I'm not in the scrim I will still most likely attend
Keep up the awesome HWG events Rommel!
|
Thanks! And great post! Hope to see you this weekend
|
Allright! We've read your posts as well as the ones on our Facebook page, and we've randomly chosen a winner:
Ashkon Honardoost - YOU ARE OUR FIRST ONLINE WINNER FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH!
For those who entered, you still have a chance for April and we will already include your name into our next month's contest, so don't worry, everyone will still have a chance to win.
Start posting your app here or at our Facebook page for April's contest!

Is this located in the microsoft store in Valley Fair?
I can't believe that something like this is happening so close to where i live, fremont. I am a gold zerg but i rarely get the oppurtunity to play sc2 because of school, family, and i don't realy have a good computer to play sc on. I've been pretty much playing sc2 on an old macbook pro and the fps is unbearable. Even though i can't play as much im always watching VODS, trying to learn as much as possible, so i can make up for not actually physically playing the game. I'm obviously not that good but i really want to get better and maybe become competitive one day. If i get selected i would be really excited but at the same time work hard to not let this experience go to waste.
I am honestly quite impressed at how fast e-sports is expanding.

The LIVE Scrimmage is at the Microsoft Store in the Valley Fair Mall this Sunday at 4:00pm - so you have two chances to win if you live in the SF Bay and South Bay Area.
So it doesn't get confusing - HWG has two contests going 1) Online 2) Live Event (Microsoft Store).
We choose 1 winner a month for Online and you could post here or at our Facebook page.
When we hold a live in-person event at the Microsoft Store, we choose one winner each hour for free coaching. We have one this Sunday at 4:00 pm.
@Mike17 am glad you found out about us and nice post - hope you can make it this Sunday!
|
ohh kk so the live event is instore and the tl app is for online. got it thanks
|
Hi. My name is Kevin and I live in Fremont, CA. I'm 18 and a senior in high school. I'm a silver Terran player that really enjoys playing this game. Although I'm not dedicated to playing this game, I've been looking for motivation and may have found them in this. I'm really looking forward to being there tomorrow, and to see some competitive, big-screen action. I hope I'll get a chance to play and be able to show my potential!
|
So I am quite bummed because the earliest I could make it was 7pm (as it said it would go til 9pm), and the store was already closed... What happened? Were there not enough people to warrant keeping it going til 9?
|
I think I left around 6:30, from what I heard the store was closing but the event was supposed to go on beyond the store's close time.
Thanks to hardwired, microsoft store, and patriot for supporting such a cool event! :D And I hadn't been up to date with the stores recently, only just from this did I hear about microsoft stores, they're pretty awesome haha.
|
i though it said スロトス but it said 2012
this is a great idea, i wish we had this stuff in michigan.
|
Sorry for the confusion - the Microsoft Store closes at 7:00 on Sundays but we weren't made aware of it until the very day, LMAO - so that's my bad.
I'll post our next LIVE scrimmage here tomorrow.
|
Next Live Scrimmage is on April 22 with Axslav - more info to come!
PM me if you have questions!
|
Just as we're getting closer to our next Live Scrimmage with Axslav (April 22), HWG will be holding ONLY the Live version of Scrimmage effective immediately instead of having both online and live events. This way, we could focus on our monthly scrimmage at the Microsoft Store for the local Starcraft 2 fans - sponsored by SteelSeries, thanks.
