It's called a Bait and Switch which is Illegal In the US I think
Everyone remember when Sundance made those speeches at Last years MLGs and he promised big and great things as Long as the fans watched SC2; remember how we helped MLG have it's most successful viewer count ever.
And now they basically traitored everyone because 80% of us can't watch it until a week after the event and most of us won't watc h the VODs anyways because everyone (mostly) getting results spoiled to them. (Because of reddit ,TL etc) and many can't wait because of anticipation

Have you tried to clear the cookies and temp files? That might help. Depending on your browser this could sound differently. BTW I like the cool streams and am happy to pay for it. Cheaper than flying to London or Newcastle for a Barcraft.
Stream running very well indeed here.

It makes me think.. why would an organizer who supposedly supports e-sports and its growth would rob so many people of it. Its like commercial money they would get from world wide companies who for sure would pay handsomely to have so much exposure is not enough... But hey.... it must be easier to make a bank account and ask for money than spend effort to get the real big companies and convince them to see the potential of e-sports.
Make me see the reason mlg !
they had to try a pay model, its a business and unless they see real numbers they cant make further decisions. with that said, i don't feel like mlg is in any position to have a pay model yet, they need to grow the brand more. i have no problem paying for a whole season with multiple events but for one i could not pay.

They cannot do this at purpose because they would piss off everyone who payed (fwouldn't even be legal if they take money from people for a thing which is free....i guess they will get huge problems because of this)

It is kind of ridiculous that you have to pay 20$ and/or 15€ and the Stream lags every 5-10 seconds... even at 240p. If you offer sth like this for 20$ you should make sure that it works fine all around the world.
|
I'm getting no lag at 1080p. And I didn't pay..
Only the Arena Central stream seems to work.. but really that's the only important one..

Yeah I know it only seems to be a problem here in the EU...

I find it more ridiculous that they are low on money and had to fire a ton of employs, but at the same time are renting a huge office in freaking downtown Manhattan. The cost and expenses involved in just maintaining that are ridiculous, and I still can't figure out why they need to be in NYC instead of a smaller city if they are having so much trouble maintaining profit. Sundance texting about getting martini lunches doesn't help.....

So sorry MLG could not make sure every viewer has an ISP that doesn't suck....

I only had lag for the first match (ie with everyone watching) on day 1 and 2. 0 lag whatsoever now (and I had quintuple streams on day1/2)

They are using their own office for this -.- the event was suppose to be at a building in Columbus but they didn't have time to finish it. Stop reaching/spreading false bullshit

IMO the part about them not making Money last year was a complete lie I have a hard time believing that considering it was their biggest year ever in viewer numbers.
It's a big Con IMO he is trying to maximize profit and got overzealous greedy etc
The best part is when he gets mad people don't want pay for it.

Those numbers won't justify shit because of all the b.s. with twitch.
Only figure that matters is their sales.

Maybe they shouldn't be using that office if they firing tons of employees. and rent a house for a day. easy solve.

they fired a bunch of employees that were not worth what they were paying, nobody read the articles on MLG and countless other things, once again stop spreading false bullshit

I think the underlying Reason he sacked the employees was to use that office as a tournament area so he could maximize profit albeit he probably didn't need them anymore.
But he's not spreading "Bullshit"
