Grubby has some great micro, brilliant at times but his tactics are just subpar. So much goofy play, dodgy timings or plain silly choices which are really keeping him back. He is probably just best off taking a page out of MC's book and doing much more 2 base aggression because the 'normal' macroplay isn't that good. All-ins and aggresive play are really good though.

Now i don't mind you not knowing the "Theme" and rarely see Grubby play, because you get all this from a few replay's ?
People should not judge to fast, it happens way to much on these forums already.
Tbh after Grubby's manner respons ... i believe you own him an appoligy.

OT: Great replay's Grubby, had a lot of fun watching them.

Why would I need to apologize? I was just voicing an opinion. The silly fanboyism at times...
I didn't know the theme and it was not directly obvious from the games to me but I still hold my opinion about his play in general. I've seen quite a bit of his play and his strats and macro are definately the weak part of his play. Microwise he is really good but the other parts keep him from really breaking through I think.

This is the first time I've watched non-terran replays, and I really enjoyed them.

And hey, you know, you could like play some wc3 sometimes and post those too.

Us Wc3 fans still love you.

Wow, that game vs dropzone was epic (A.K.A: "What's the weather like?")
...and how the hell did you win a Tal'Darim PvP with Nexus first? >.<

I really liked seeing the carriers. It seems like they would actually be strong against any zerg composition with the templar, mothership and archons to back them up.

Occasionally Grubby does still play a little bit of WC3 on stream ( with subscribers aswell )
But if you want to see more i can highly recommend "Grubby's WarCraft III Commentaries". + Show Spoiler +

aswell as these SC2 replays, have to admit i've watched most if not all of them live on stream aswell and recognize them by the titles! =)
Eventhough some of these WC3 games might seem dated, the high level of play combined with the awesome insights by Grubby himself make it very entertaining for sure.

If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything

Grubby stream is actually the best protoss stream in starcraft 2, he comments a lot while playing, he explains his moves that give us great look on how pros see the game, and he doesnt do some wacky things aka special tactics. Thats the best way to learn the game.

Mana stream is good too, if he comment, because when he is playing agins hard opponents he stop talking and focus on game

Watched most of them directly on Stream. Great stuff as usually, Grubby.

Keep it up.

Awesome!

I remember watching you play that one PvT live, and saying "still alive" all the time. So funny :D

I've watched so many of your wc3 replays during the years it's ridiculous.
Also spent way too many hours stoned on my couch watching you stream sc2 last summer.
Good times.

Thanks for the replays

So you are saying it's alright to criticize some one on replay's that are ment for pure fun and entertainment.
It's fine you stay with your opinion, but the fact your comment had no place in this topic seems to elude you.
Also this has to do with common decentcy not silly fanboyism, in a normal world it's alright to say you were wrong and apologize for it.
