Moon's results thus far aren't the best, but they're amazing considering that most of his playing time was split between multiple games. I always wondered "why zerg" though.

Probably because every other player who is any good in Korea chooses terran so he went against the grain.

dunno how he knew but the painting looks excellent.

You realize he's the one that did the painting for the hype announcement right?

saw the hype video just once, but yeah, now it all makes sense :D lmao.

I guess he likes mass-expanding, lol. He did have a pretty unique macro War3 style when he chose to show it.

Grubby does think Protoss is the most NE-like race; glad Moon didn't go that route, though, since we have way too many ex-War3 Protoss players.

A lot of us hoped zerg would support improvised, micro intensive play. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.

Didn't Moon play in DH2011? He six pooled vs. Huk or something in the last game of the tournament (so he was second place). I think he was a beta/early-GSL player too.

Haven't heard or seen anything of him since, but he was good back then. I've watched a few WC3 games with him, and (although I know nothing about WC3) he seemed baller. Look forward to seeing more of him.

Glad to see Fnatic has a new well-known player after Sen and Fenix left.

Nonono he fake expand and then allined with banes and lings i believe. Of course that was cleverly countered by huk not seeing the expand and thinking Moon was going to one base all-in from the beginning. A classic.

Amazing pick-up, real hope to see him shine.

Mmmh, he really does. His Tal'Darim style is just fucking epic, reminds me of his Lost Temple (I think) style pre-ToL nerf. Got goosebumps all over @ DH Summer.

Edit:

That was game 4. And Moon admitted afterwards that he did not plan it but actually choked during Game 4 and 5, something very unexpected from the player with the most stage experience in the world.

In the last game he 6pooled and then went into a Roach Ling all-in. Unfortunately for Moon Dreamhack was using out of date maps, so Taldarim could easily be walled off and HuK didn't have to build a Pylon/Cannon in his mineral line, giving him a huge advantage.

Awesome! So happy to see moon in sc2. What race is he playing? I guess many night elfs feel its natural to switch to zerg but on the other hand terran is the race that is most aggressive and abuse multitasking the most (drops etc).

Actually Zerg can abuse multitasking the most, they just haven't figured it out yet =) I assume moon understands this.

Guys it's official, discobaas has confirmed it! Zergs are officially the race that can abuse multitasking the most! When NesTea, Idra and the boys work this out oh ho ho are you other races in trouble! Hey discobaas got anymore revelations you wish to share on incredibly nebulous subjects using arbitrary and bizarre criteria? We're all on the edge of our seat here!

What a stupid debate, multi-tasking is just something that every race needs. Zerg requires multi-tasking as well as Terran (but let's be honest, Protoss doesn't... jk). To land all your injects while watching for drops and Muta harassing IS multi-tasking. Doing the drops while macroing is ALSO multi-tasking. Both are difficult to do. Stop the pointless bantering.

Wow you just plain didn't understand half the words in my post did you? I was making the point you are trying to make bro, chillax and have a brewski it's all good in the hood dawg.

Not really, he started out as terran during the open seasons because everyone said that it was the best race. He later switched to zerg because people said that it would fit his playstyle more.

People thinking that this pick up is overhyped don't see that Moon has so much potential now that he's moving to SC2 full-time.
