Curious if Idra has his raging under control by now. On the other hand, wouldn't mind some raging and BM'ing. SC2 is so good mannered nowadays
Pretty sure Idra wouldn't rage and BM a Slayers player given the whole EG partnership and Idra staying in their teamhouse.

Since Mana vs Ganzi, it's been proven that the tip-top players from the foreign scene can compete with solid Koreans. Just like Mana vs Ganzi, this is Idra's best matchup. On the other hand Taeja is a Slayers Terran, and I suspect if he cares about the showmatch (he should, if only for the exposure) he will have a couple of tricks up his sleeve (Hellion/MM, maybe some sneaky drop play or proxys) to throw Idra off his macro game.

I know! A lot of people are lying to themselves! To be honest though, I could see if all the stars aligned maybe, just maybe, idra could win this, but that's a long shot in my opinion, I don't see him taking more than a game or two off taeja

The votes close but I'm not so sure the series will be. It's a slayers Terran who dominates this tournament vs a foreigner Zerg... Don't get your hopes up too high imo.

I wouldn't say all hype... But I agree. Taeja will roll this 4-0 or 4-1.

Out of curiosity. What's the closest poll ever with the most participants?

Poll is useless, people are voting to keep it neck and neck. Poll results should be invisible before voting or if you view the results, your vote is voided.

Agreed but at the same time I believe the vast vast majority of those voting for Taeja (like myself) truly think that he will win the showmatch. Not sure if the same can be said for those on the idra side of the fence but I guess we'll see.

I think Taeja will win reasonably comfortably. Idra is overrated, although no doubt he is a good player. However if you look at his majour results they all came at time when the standard of competition was much lower e.g. MLG DC 2010 or in tournaments with a limited pull of players e.g. Asus Rog invite or IEM Guangzhou. A word I see often thrown around with Idra's name is talented but I don't think he's talented as much as he is well practised. He's played the game full time since beta and before that was one of the only foreigners to be practising brood war full time in a korean pro house. I think his biggest problem is his mindset which to use a favourite phrase of his is "fucking retarded", in fact i'd go as far to say that it is "full retard" because he's chosen to construct his own contrived set of rules on top of the restrictions already imposed by the game which have given him a flawed, imperfect and predictable play-style and then he appears shocked and disgusted when someone not held by the same self-imposed restrictions exploits the full range of strategies available in the game beats him which leads to rage-quitting and self-mutilation of his confidence.
