I think this is the future of streaming, at least for Korean teams. Just set up a dedicated camera, have a guy do the translating, and rotate in players. The players don't feel the burden of need to stream regularly to keep up the audience, and we in the stream audience get a constant, high-quality content from a variety of players, with a translator fielding questions. Western players probably will still want individual streams to keep control over their fanbase revenue, but for the big Korean teams, this has enormous potential. Set up a dedicated streaming room, put up a few cameras, have the translator as host, and you could have a IM gaming channel. Just mix it up between streaming with players, fan Q&A, and maybe some teaching sessions with the coaches. If each pro spent 4 hours on stream a week, you'd still have 50+ hours a week. | ||
