last night one of my friend on youtube who has over 100,000 subscribers made a video asking people to vote for me, and his subscriber has been voting none stop, yet the other channel's vote stays a head by 1000 like cloak work, no matter what kind of boost i get, the moment i close in the other channel just get a boost too. feels kinda weird.. =/

That's definitely suspicious, maybe we should just wait 1-2 hours before the end of the poll and mass vote? because something like this doesn't make any sense when everybody votes for Glider but other community suddenly votes 2-3k more than we do.

Yes I saw the video. He is very talented but he does not teach anything just shows off his skills. At our university we use www.torproject.org to pass filters on internet here. Maybe that is why we can vote big numbers with others. I read other posts here and you're very active here.
I know my English is not very good. That is why I am grateful for free videos on the internet that I can use and learn.

the most important thing in teaching or music or arts is inspiring other people to learn. He certainly did inspired me to learn (though i'm still drawing potato with dots). Not only it inspired people, but it's enjoyable too, now how does that get beaten by a boring English channel? I'm not saying that channel is crap by any mean, just that there's something just not right.
Beside, if you really want to learn something, get a teacher, 90% of the time he/she will be more helpful than the stuff you get on the internet.

youtube has an algorithm to verify the authenticity of view counts. if the video becomes popular too quickly, you'll see it stop around 300 as youtube works to process the incoming information. give it a couple of hours and it'll update to reflect the true count.

TLO also posted on his facebook / mentioned it on stream multiple times which always gave quite a boost, but maybe she is doing the same. Still I hope that youtube has some more elaborate anti-cheat systems which are applied after the vote closes, purging the illicit votes.
