I think his commentary has been steadily improving, though the issue is that between he and Artosis (Global Invitational Team) there is not enough hype/enthusiasm. They're a little too similar in their tone, and JP seems to just sit there and ask Artosis a tonne of questions about what the players are doing and why it's good. I don't know, I guess I'll have to wait and see if he casts with anyone else, because with a different partner the dynamic might be completely different. On Apollo, I definitely believe he deserves a shot. He's very smart and commentates the game well. As for TB, I don't feel that he knows the game quite well enough (only being a Gold player who doesn't play that much). Also, there are plenty of casters out there who fulfil his function (hype/excitement) just as well if not better than he does. | ||
