only missing: Stephano, SaSe, Grubby, MaNa, ThorZaiN & DeMsuliM, imo then this would bhe the ultimate tournament because I do think Europe isn't on full strength here yet But hey! look at who ARE there this is sick :D :D

Is it good that there are more notable players that are korean than foreigners? Isn't it then much more likely to for us to see eight finals up to the finals full of only koreans? And this wouldn't be that good for esports imo. Everyone likes to see a player from their country fighting and winning, and having one dominate everything for sure wouldn't serve that purpose.

Indeed it would've been nice to see Stephano duke it out with the koreans. I'm sure he would be able to overrun a lot of them in his current state.

This tournament should be called
"The ultimate Korea vs America"
It has been designed that way (inviting korean players for the show and seeding american players since it is an american tournament).

If Team Liquid had no european players, there would be only 2 or 3 european players in Providence. I hope next year MLG will pay more attention to european players, enabling them to seeded as well as american players. But after all it is an american tournament so it's normal that they give more space to their players.

Even though the korean invites had a huge advantage over open players they still had to win the tournament and THEN SOME MORE to get into champ brackets for example IMMVP. The system is just rewarding players that put in regular appearances and decent results, something europeans arent doing that well at.

What you say is correct without the seeding system pre-MLG. Starting in the pool play or in the open tournament makes a lot of a difference in this tournament. Espacially when you're not invited to the tournament and you have to pay a thousand dollar to attend.
And i'm not blaming the tournament organisers, the MLG is an awesome tournament for sure!! I'm just trying to analyze the list of players. It was not sarcasm when i said it's normal to give more room to your players. But i also think you should not nickname this tournament "best players from all around the globe fighting" or "best of korea vs best of foreigner" like I heard. (I may be wrong since i have not a full understanding of the seeding system). Ultimate Korea vs America is pretty scary already.

This is going to be a great tournament. This is what MLG wants. The best players in the world competing for a big prize. If a foreigner were to win this one, then it would be one hell of an achievement.

rename this tournament to Starcraft II World Cup please, ESWC is nothing compared to this.

This is THE hardest tournament ever, harder than code S since you play like 20 or more games per day .
