It's okay, he is amazingly good and he can definitely go far in both GSL and Dreamhack.
If he plays his best he does have a solid chance of winning GSL.

Yeah, it isn't a good decision skipping MLG but whatever it is what it is.

i don't think he has enough points to be directly seeded.. which means he has to be playing in the open bracket not knowing who he plays. Imo, i think his decision which was the correct decision

See my post, and I think this makes more sense to you... I mean, if you knew what SaSe wants, and where he's from (he wants to make it in Korea, and he's from Sweden) then you would perfectly understand his decision making

Besides, new GSL format = much better chance of getting to Code S!

Its not like they will just keep giving him code A seeds (Actually I'm probably wrong and they probably will keep giving him seeds should he fail), but he shouldn't be relying on the kindness of GOM to allow him into the GSL should he not put his best foot forward.

Also in the long run, maintaining a good GSL career would eventually pay better than winning a single MLG, as well as make him a significantly better player.

You neglect to mention, new GSL format also = much better chance of not being in Code A anymore.

I think it's quite obvious that SaSe is not in this to make as much money as possible. If you want to be the best you have to put up results in GSL. How would he do that if he turns it down for other tournaments?

Don't blame him for avoiding what is by far the toughest of those 3 things.

If he was seeded he'd def take the MLG spot instead. Would be stupid not to.

S'okay, even though he didn't go he'll still probably be able to hear a shoutout from his cheer cannon.

I am legit very happy about this decision as a hue SaSe fan, i am glad he is focusing on fewer tournaments and making sure he is in top condition for them.

GOOD LUCK SASE! Kick some GSL ass!

3 tournies, 3 different, 3 diff time zones! Yeah, you're making the right decision. No one wants to lose because they were too worn down to play their best. GL in the GSL.

If Sase's going to be in MLG's open bracket, I can fully understand why he would not want to risk his performance in the GSL, along with his own aspirations to do well there.

All the best in GSL, the new format should be better for you!

Sase ... you will be missed in MLG and hope you progress in the GSL .... you have 2 great reason for skipping ( not that you needed to give any in the first place )
