IdrA + Jason was like worst thing ever, idra says like 2 words in 5 minutes and jason is talking about exactly what everything sees. talking about what he sees? you can make anything sound bad. you need a guy commentating on what's happening. that's what casting is about, feeding people information. you need to feed people information in a structured manner instead of randomly like it is right now. i'd rather have "he's queing up marines while upgrading while taking another expansion" then the colour analyst saying "he's going for a 3 base timing push to break blah blah blah his build is great for defeating this high macro style of blah blah blah" than hearing 2 casters analyzing the build and giving their own respective feedback. it creates debate among the casters and confusing. how many times have you heard stuff like "i think this build is great vs mutas" "yeah but he could easily differentiate builds and switch tech if he scouts it" "yeah that's true nvm". when you hear a basketball broadcast you hear marv albert or whoever saying what's going on then when theres a break you hear reggie miller(ex player) or stan van gundy(an ex coach) talking about the play they just did and how it worked. what casters are doing right now is that you have 2 people doing colour and play-by-play and you don't play to caster strengths. imagine having idra do play-by-play commentary. it would be bad because he's very knowledgeable with a lackluster voice. he would be amazing on colour. | ||

Jason Lee, is one the best co-casters to grace GOM TV during SC1, Im ashamed to say however that When his name is mentioned the trolling questions are the first thing that comes to mind LOL. Think he and Tasteless will do an awesome show. | ||

and i agree they make a great combo. They're quite opposite, too. This is an example of a commentator/caster example to the extreme. Not to mention the ethnicity difference is interesting too.
