“We always put a lot of time and effort into our EG MCSL finals weekends, and we think that the production quality of our finals broadcasts is up there with the best in the industry. Since the spectator experience our previous broadcasts offered had been received so positively by the community, we felt that now would be a good time to add an in-person component to the EG MCSL’s spectatorship,” remarked Alexander Garfield, CEO of Evil Geniuses. “Since we love StarCraft, and BarCraft, and delicious food, and ever-flowing libations, BarCraft at Chao Bistro was the obvious choice to partner with for this finals weekend, and we’re so excited that they’re helping to support it! ”
“Professional StarCraft II, tasty beer, awesome prizes, and great people…what more could you ask for. We’re extremely excited to be cooperating with Team EG for the MCSL Finals Weekend. He would say: "I f***ed that up, made a mistake here, that control was awful, i missed an injection there and I've won, because this game is broken!" Or something else in this direction I guess =)
I'm really excited for the finals, I'm gonna cheer for my beloved mousesports and hope for gosu performances. This is gonna be awesome!

I understand in the announcement it says "The event, which will feature the top four StarCraft II teams from the sixth season of the MCSL, will be hosted live by Marcus “djWHEAT” Graham and an announced guest commentator." Sadly too many organizations are hosting "live" replays and VOD's of games 2-3 weeks old. Just want a little clarification.
Games gonna be Live, Tape Delay, or Replays? Looking forward to this!

Looks to be an exciting event. Will definitely check it out, if only in anticipation of IdrA commentary ^^

Sounds like from replays but with the casters casting the games live at the event.

it's really odd that all the comments above are more excited about hearing idra's commentary rather than seeing idra play :|
