Holy shit.

That's like something you only expect from a player like MVP or Nestea. Sure its "just ladder" but to win so consistently means your play has very few holes in it.

Nestea actually just fucks around on ladder. sC learned that the hard way I suppose.

I felt sorry for the people he was playing... I just wish he went to Complexity because I think we would have seen more of him in big tourneys.

If he's doing this well in the European scene, he should be in Europe. He's clearly at a point where there are not enough Europeans at a high enough level to challenge him consistently enough. Sure, there are some power houses, a few, but he's wasting time on the European ladder. It's sad to think that on complexity, he could have gone to Korea. Make something happen, milenium! Utilize the potential!

I thought he might have been too disoriented from coL to actually play for a while.

I hope he does well in LANs. I haven't seen his offline performance yet.

He has won every single French LANs during the last 6 months. And was far from bad in the HSC3 as an example.

He DOESN'T want to go. It's not his goal at the moment.

Not guaranteed success.

MarineKing was owning up the korean ladder on multiple accounts for a long time, but has not since showed very amazing tourney results compared to his other terrans.

what i found most awesome about stephano is his queen usage. i caught him at the end of this run and watched him take a 3rd right next to the protoss in abyssal caverns..thought this must have been a mistake or a bad choice. nope.

after a FFE, the protoss went stargate and stephano just spread creep to his front door and threw queens lings and roaches at the protoss. gg.

it was one of the coolest strategies i've seen from a zerg since watching the rise of the infestor plays. it was sick nasty.

Any number of Koreans playing on the Euro ladder would post similar statistics, especially the Terrans.

i attribute that to the development of the game overall..remember when he was owning shit up the gate was extremely young and he was marine micro'ing like a boss. he can't do that anymore because people have figured out how to handle him and mass marines all game. you just can't play like that anymore.

what the OP is talking about is a korean practice regiment which is pretty hardcore. i think he would benefit from it in certain ways as would most pro-gamers. see: thorzain's improvement.

To be fair the Koreans have a lot more and better ladder competition than the eu players do though.

Well KR ladder is a different beast, but I could imagine them doing this on EU/NA.

Didn't MVP have a NA account with an insane winrate or something?

yea it was a masters account with a 95% winrate

People like him need to get to Korea asap. No point in wasting talent playing the lazy bunch of "pro"gamers that Europeans dare to call themselves.

He should follow Naniwa's footsteps. Or HuK's if you prefer. Those are basically the only people that are truly serious about getting good.
