It seems cute now but if they come to expect this sort of thing that will be bad news, especially after they (Korean teams) completely dickd the NASL and didn't even seem sorry about it. If a player with the stardom of MKP cant afford to travel he needs a new team, not charity from fans. What is sad is that the koreans teams who have the best players struggle to have sponsors whereas mid-tier (read : foreign) teams have a lot of sponsors/money.

Oh wait, MVP just asked for any prospective main sponsor to step forward during the post GSL finals interview!

Other people have already bashed this post enough, but I just want to say this is written out of sheer ignorance. If it was easy for Koreans to come to MLG, they would surely come. $10,000 over a period of 3 day is more than a great deal. Also as other person pointed out, MVP was looking for sponsors after his 3rd GSL win, his 3rd. On a side note: MKP take gold please! I know you can do it!

Gotta echo you here, Korean SC2 teams don't have money lying around on the level of EG.

And that's really a shame. But with more international appearances of korean Stars, hopefully big western esport sponsors like, razer, amd, intel, steelseries etc. will start supporting korean teams too. I mean Prime, a team who has/had stars like MKP and Polt and 4 GSL Finals with them in its rows, has only _one_ sponsor - a korean chicken resturant. The only difference from that seems to be slayers. With razor and other sponsors, they even could afford some high tier player transfers (puzzle, coca).
