Stephano goes Pro!
After the news of ToD leaving Millenium for korean adventures, team Millenium has happier news to present. According to esportsfrance, Stephano is dedicating his next year to Starcraft 2. Hitherto, Stephano has been studying and playing SC2 in his spare time. Even so, as followers of the european scene will know, he has achieved great results in both on- and offline tournaments. This past week barely loosing 1-2 to the later qualifier TSL-aLive, in the online-qualification for IPL 3, after beating among others marineking (will be streamed *saturday according to the IPL schedule - edit, wrong day).
For anyone hoping for a resurgence of the 'foreign' horde, you'll be hard pressed to find a player more talented than Stephano. Rejoice!
Furthermore, it seems Stephanos team, Millenium, is planning the opening of a team-house in southern France, Marseille, from which their SC2 players and LoL-team can practice. To finish out, Millenium are hoping to be able to represent new recruits in the near future. Details are sparse, but hopefully team Millenium will let ud know more details soon.

BIG NEWS , awesome btw
stephano going to rip it up
This is GREAT news! Go Stephano and Millenium!~~~
Stephano as a full time pro is scary.
Damn I didn't know Stephano wasn't playing SC2 Full Time. He was pretty beastly and this should make him a real contender for future events. Congrats to Mill
Yay awesome, Go Stephano! Bonne chance!
Stephano: ah ...(sadface) it seems 2h a day is not enough to beat Puma, ill make it 3h Newspapers: STEPHANO GOES PRO
He wasn't a "pro"? Wow... that's crazy. Can't wait to see how beastly he gets, even more so from a team house atmosphere (if done right).
Shit, he wasn't a pro already?
He's going to destroy.
If its true what he said in interview with Grubby he was averaging 2h a day with more before tourneys... which ... is.... i dunno wrong aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Awesome. He got great potential so now we will see if he can make something out of it with a lot of practice
didn't know that he wasn't dedicated already....
he will be one of the best in the world. longterm - he is so young... looking forward and wish him best of luck!
i can see big things coming from him, great news :D
I wish him all the best and I dearly hope that going pro is accompanied by absolutely professional surroundings. You need a coach, you need strategy sessions etc. (I am no insider, nazgul should know much more about than I do, but I think you get what I mean). I sometimes have the feeling that foreign team houses are lacking in this regard.

That is all there is to it.

So many talented young players in Europe who are already beasting it up while still going to school/uni etc. Will be cool to see where he can go.

Best of luck to him. I can't wait to see what he can do with full-time practice.
siq :=) stephano gonna pwn sum nerdz now
he wasn't full time before this? oh shit we're all screwed
I could see Stephano fit into the type of player TL would recruit. An 'interesting' person. Good choice by him to go pro for a year, I feel he has much room for improving even futher.
if he plays this game 2 hours a day and still be pro's that dedicate their lives in to playing it all day long then I'd say stephano is centennial rts player.. one that is born out only in a certain generation for a hundred years.
This is how to become a pro - get good at the game first while without having to give everything up, then when you prove your potential make a move. None of this 'I'm in diamond/masters, gonna quit life to go pro at sc2'.
Oh man, this is going to be awesome.
Amazing talent, I can't wait to see how well he will do.
Oh my fucking god... European Nestea incoming. Stephano soooo!!ooOOooo! good! Wonder how hard and long he practices on a normal day. Does not look like he practices that much. o.o He looks so talented.
my favourite zerg gogo stephano! show marine king whos pink power! and nice job team millenium!
omg someone needs to stop him b4 he takes over EU and eventually KR >< can't wait to see his true potential
this kid will rip heads off...

My EXACT immediate thought. o_____o
Oh man, this is huge. Stephano is easily one of the top 4 Zergs in Europe.
Dimaga, Nerchio, Stephano, Ret (in no particular order) are all incredibly talented.
The fact that he got that good while only playing part time should be a testament to how beastly he'll be 6 months from now.
Stephano is such a beast and one of my favorite zergs. It's great to hear he is going to play full time. As for the team house, that is seriously awesome. I wonder who is going to be in it though.
All together I'm looking forward to Millenium's results. They are such an underrated team. Maybe not so much the players individually, but they have such a solid all around roster.

he was a 17 year old schoolkid.
isnt that frightening?^^

Hearing that Stephano wasn't a full-time pro with the results I've witnessed him post is kinda mind blowing. This guy will be very, very legit if he can surround himself with high-level practice partners.
I hope he will exploit this extra trainning and show his full potential !
I never imagined that Millenium would have the funding to open a team house, im pretty surprised by that to be honest. Im also interested to see whether the extra practice time will translate to better play for stephano. I can imagine it taking a while to really take effect and I'd hate for someone used to so little play to burn out with frustration

This is really alarming. I'm not sure the European scene can take this guy practicing more. He's so ridiculously good already!
Stephano is to me one of the most promising foreigners right now. I really hope he'll do well!

He...practised....two hours....a day and does as well as he does now? jeeez cant wait to see what kind of beast he becomes with full time practise, gogo stephano

I totally agree on this. Stephano is a monster and I cannot wait to watch him disassemble tourneys and rip apart tourney favorites. Stephano + SC2 fulltime = total destruction.
it's funny how i was hyping stephano when people didn't know him, now everyone agrees :D stephano is just the very definition of talent.

OH YEAHH STEPHANOOO <3<3 also Tarson <3<3 Very cool news Mill.
Yeah..He's going to be incredible. As if he wasn't already a beast.
Oh god. He's so good I thought he was already full-time.
wow i assumed he was full time already
he's gonna be scary good
Stephano is probably the best zerg outside of korea. Or at least one of the best atm. Spanishiwa is up there too with idra.
I'm really glad for both Stephano and Millenium.
Millenium is a great team with sick skill(even though ToD left), I can't wait to see how it'll turn out!
Grats to everyone!
ToD leave Millenium for Korea (maybe MVP gaming-house).
Stephano stop school and play full time SC2.
Millenium open a Gaming House in Marseille, France (Maybe with Adelscott, Kleenex & Stephano + Millenium.LoL)
Amazing !
btw this is probably worth to get featured on the front page (team house is always a big thing)
Didn't he want to go to medschool?
Practice time isnt everything though. Hopefully he can find good practice partners and train methodically.
Anyways, I was a fan before it was mainstream...

Team house is great and all but who's going to be in it?
Stephano, tarson, adelscott and ...?
Ok, not to take anything away from your enjoyment, but this is old news. Stephano made his decision while in Tunisia. Don't make him the master yet, he is good but he is cocky and too self-assured. And while he might have the rawest talent in EU, it's some kind of a french thing to never completely deliver.
The gaming house is still a project but has financial back-up has been found so it should only be a matter or time (expected current 2012)
On September 09 2011 10:19 lim1017 wrote: Team house is great and all but who's going to be in it?
Stephano, tarson, adelscott and ...? Adelscott, and Stephano at first with some of the top french players (like Sarens, or AureS) and the LoL team. Tarson/Diestar and Lalush could also come to train.
Wait--hold the phone. Stephano has been slaying nerds part-time?
Heaven help us.
Gratz to Stepahno and good luck to Millenium! Hope to see great things from them. But with all these foreign houses (trying to copy the Korean model it seems) I wonder if any of them has a coach, as the Koreans have (and, in the context, how important is to have a coach for a team? though this might be the subject of a different thread). I ask this 'cause Team EG seems to have no coach and I haven't heard of coaches in the foreign scene.
Stephano is already god - like becoming full time will make him a god
Hope he reach his full potential and own Koreanz.

Ha I dont know about the French thing, you guys have been virtually untouchable in games like css for a long time now. If Stephano could ever deliver on that level it'd be rediculous

Holy hell, he wasnt a full time pro and he's this good already? He's going to be scary over the next year

Pretty sure he is, Mana on the other hand still goes to high school I think.
Been hearing a ton of good stuff about Stephano interstingly enough I didnt realise he was studying and playing at the same time. I guess playing full time should increase his skill level a ton.

Awesome to see another team house being set up and stephano, who is already an incredible player playing full time.

Stephano was playing 2h/day?
INSANE! Looking forward to see him develop into a beast.

Wasnt stephano in school ? Does this mean he quits school for sc ?
He just finished high school in June, so he was not able to play a lot with school from 8 to 17, maybe 18 sometimes, 4 days per week, and one day from 8 to 13 (usually Wednesday in french high schools).
This will change

Wait WHAT?!
Stephano is actually a "jobber" or "studier" and is still THAT good?
I cannot even imagine how badass he'll be if he goes full-pro AND lives in a team-house. I wonder though how many players of the same caliber as Stephano will be in that team-house. But no matter what, Stephano will IMHO become even more insanely good in a very short time.
Great news - There is no Zerg I get more inspiration from and that I like watching more than Stephano, at least outside of Korea.

This so fckin good news!! I remember talking with dignitas saying "stephano will probably drop off after september when he goes back to school" and now this news?! so sick

I actually am scared to see what will happen with a Millenium Team House in France. Stephano and Adelscott shuold become real monsters and if Tarson decides to live there too, europe will be completetly destroyed by them :O
Awesome to see more and more non Korean Teams taking the next step with team houses.

I think Diestar and Tarson wont go in team house, they are both studying and Tarson as his girlfriend in Poland.
But i'm sure they will join Stephano and Adelscott from time to time, for both training and some kind of holydays in french riviera, but not for a very long time.

Hmm, I think some player union should go in and cap Stephanos training to max 3-4h a day. Will going to get silly otherwise...
