They didn't even send any players to the last MLG apart from those who went with their own funds. MajOr is better off without these guys, who are pretty much screwed in any team tournaments without him. I don't really blame Juan for this at all, as he's shown that he's changed significantly if not completely by staying with the team for almost a year despite them promising to send him to Korea when he first joined and never holding to that promise at all.
Major was with SJ for not even quite 5 months. I wouldn't call that a year. And it's not like SJ just completely ignored their promise. They tried to work out a couple of deals, which unfortunately didn't work out for whatever reasons. This is coming from someone who's never liked how SJ does their business.

Major is way immature and unprofessional. That being said, if I was as talented skill wise as major, no way would I want to be on sixjax. Sixjax seems kinda shady, they act like they're a pro team but then don't send their players to tournaments and you go to their site and half of it is... a freaking penny auction site wtf? Penny auctions are notorious for scamming, why the hell is a starcraft 2 pro team involved in that. So bizarre.
Now the team has what 4 mediocre players who will probably never win a tournament from here on out, if they even get sent to them. I wish they would just disband or at least Artosis would leave, hate to see such an awesome guy stuck on a sinking ship overloaded with pennies.

So name me a foreign team that would be willing to sign Major and pay for his way to Korea. There is very little tangible benefit to the team and a lot of financial risk (Major may just jump ship to the Korean team, based on his past history?)

And name me a foreign team that would promise to send major to Korea but failed to do so, and even failing to sponsor its team to local lan tournaments. I got one for you. Sixjax.

I wish major luck on finding a new team and going to Korea.
What an incredibly biased summary.

For those who are biased towards SJG and major. Just wish both parties do well in the future.

Can you team organizers stop picking up this kid? There is no shortage of raw talent in SC2, sponsor someone from Korea if you have to.

Anyone with grammar like that and that young is hard to take serious. I like Major but he needs to clean up his act and mature a bit before he buckles down and gets serious, he seems to have some really distorted view and he cannot even explain himself properly. Would be nice to see him shape up and play well though!

There's a time and place for everything, and this was definitely the right time and place.

It reads the same if not worse.

MajOr i guess u did the right thing because Sixjax didn't keep their promises to u as of proven or i guess proven in this thread if ur not a liar which i don't think you do.
Nothing more to be added here. Why judge major when he knows what to do best?
gl major!

lol @ skew stirring shit and then departing from thread.
Kinda obvious what he means though, really expected more from sixjax >_< Many people said they were a shady bunch, but I gave them benefit of doubt. Goes to show...

Dignitas, they did take a chance on Naniwa. They might even send him to korea (but he might have to get a code A spot)

Qxc. Do people hate Qxc for it? Apparently, people don't even remember he was once in Root.
Why do you care about clan hopping in Broodwar?
Are you trying to prove you are a real teamliquider? Are you old-skool? Most people talking about Major's past have never made a single post in the Broodwar forums, yet they talk about stuff they don't know shit about. The only people that have the right to still be pissed off with Major are some clan managers. Still, what does it means to be a clan-hopper in BW? Most pro-ams have had tenths of tags.
Maj0r was the best player in Sixjax by far (even of DDE and Vibe were also good), and the team heavily relied in him for all clan/team tournaments. He got the boot because he talked about how badly run his team was in the MLG thread. Unprofessional? Maybe. But he didn't lie about what he said. One is a breach of legal contract, one is not. DDE is the strongest player on sixjax. DDE ? lol are people serious ? or they trolling ? i can't believe stuff i am reading around here. it's so sad to see angry nerds trash talking a really good player who didn't really do anything to gain all this hate. lol? Even Major acknowledges DDE's skills. You have no idea. i never said he's not good, i actually like DDE but i feel major multi tasking and decision making is way better and it is what on the long run is gonna make him more successful than dde. anyway, i am just baffled by all these angry comments towards major, part of this community sometimes is ridiculous :/ you have been a tl member all of two or three months. do you know major's history with the foreign scene and tl.net? his constant team jumping? history repeats itself. rotfl, do you realize membership registration has nothing to do with what i know or from how long i have been following the SC2 scene right ? i am very well aware of everything and he did not do anything major to gain all this hate. tell me a good reason why he should get all this hate. your post does not make any sense. it is really obvious that this last move can't be described as "Team jumping" so it has nothing to do with it. this is absolutely far from "history repeats itself" - if you were actually trying to realize what happened you'd understand it is really different from the team jumping or the root-thing. it is really obvious that sixjax had a poor administration, did not send his good players like major and DDE to mlg to send evoli (lol) and they made deals they could not promise over and over. i would not be surprised to see artosis take distance from sixjax too, but i'm sure in that case everyone will magically "realize" that maybe sixjax isn't a great team and this time major has done nothing wrong. the release explanation of major from their "press" section shows how unprofessional and amateur the management of sixjax is. people like you just tying "obvious, lol." "history repeats itself" blabla are totally clueless and fail to analyze what are the reasons behind major's and sixjax's move. His history didn't begin with SC2 lol. And it's easy to carry the hate over time because he hasn't really done anything aside from stirring shit. Actions speak louder than words, and so far pretty much all of his actions have been negative. You sound like you take everything at face value. You know that Juan was a young high school student back in his BW trouble days right? And we're talking like 14-15 here. And you know hat BW teams weren't professional and acted more like clans or even WoW guilds right? You can join and leave at will with no consequence except for the bitchings of a leader who thought he had got the new star when he joined. I prefer to look at things in their context and circumstance and Juan seems to have left sixjax for the same reason that he left Root. Root didn't have sponsors and couldn't send him anywhere to any tournaments, and especially not Korea, so he left and joined sixjax as they represented a career opportunity to him to give him Korean training and tournament experience. It seemed obvious to him that these promises were no longer going to be fulfilled at sixjax either and he asked for a release and got one. He didn't break any terms apart from the ones that evoli vaguely mentions as a scapegoat excuse, which is unprofessional as it is a slander against Juan but doesn't go into details to prove their existence. Indeed Juan could sue sixjax for libel if he has the necessary evidence to back it up. Yes, I understand that he is/was young. I was about the same age during all of my personal dealings with him in BW, and I understand that those don't carry all that much weight anymore, but when I look at the fact that things feel the same as back then, it makes me understand why a lot of people dislike him. I really don't care that much either way, he isn't the worst manner guy around or anything, but he is no saint. Just think back: what was the last thing you heard/saw from Juan that was incredibly honorable or nice? Put that against the long list of things of things he has done that have not been the most honorable or nice, it feels like "nothing changed," you know?

I'm siding with Juan on this one. He's in my mind up there with Huk on his dedication to the game while being a non-korean. Sixjax could only benefit from sending him there and like Major said, he already did the test to get into the house and he wouldn't need SJG to help with housing or food.
Best of luck Juan!
