Thanks for all the Korean tournament coverage on the interesting maps. I'm always surprised that so few people watch it because the games are almost always really interesting.

ESVision is a bit too generic, a vision can be anything. Going down that line I'd go for ESAction, mapmaking and running/casting tournaments are what makes ESPORTS happen.

I voted no, but let me explain; this is not a stupid name by any means, I just feel that it does not sound very awesome. Anyway I'm fine with it, even though I'd love to know what are the probable alternatives.

Please let me know any alternatives you have. Remember we have to be able to secure a relevant domain name for it and also the JTV channel has to be not used. I actually had some cool names lined up before I realized I needed to check those

Very good post very well written and incredibly well reasoned makes sense completely.

ICCUP has never done anything good in sc2. Glad their not going to be after seeing their horror stories in blogs.

Good decision by Diamond. You should have done it sooner.
ICCup name is a bit "tainted" when dealing with official game creators. Still it was a very cool name.
About ESVision.....
Well i dont dig the name too much... Maybe shorten it to ESV (but then again its similar to ESL).

This thread should now focus on finding a new and cool name for the old iccup tv

Phew, for a moment I thought you guys would stop all the things you were doing. Honestly, I could care less from ICCup and from what I read in the article, I did right in doing so. Anyways, I'll continue looking forward to more content from you guys, you guys are currently my sole source of news for the chinese sc2 scene!
