I'm excited to see the fruits this will bear down the line. The difference won't be super obvious in just a few weeks, but if they can hang in there at the house with a rigorous schedule for months and months. . . watch for these guys to crush in 2012.

Why exactly is EG a leading gaming team for e-sports ?

Puma took NASL first place! Thats how!

Do your accomplishments before you join a team get credited to the team that had nothing to do with it?

Is this how a "normal" house for normal to decent wealthy people live in in america looks like?

Cause you would laugh how the houses for normal people look like here in good old germany :D

Depends. In some places houses are dirt cheap. Like Arizona or Nevada. Whereas in San Fran Cisco something like that would cost a fortune. I'd say no for the most part, a lot of houses were bought before the crash when they cost much more.

It's location, location, location, man. A house that size in my area would be 1.2m+ O.o

I'd rather live in a cramped downtown apartment than a 5 bedroom mansion in the boonies of a boonie of a suburban boonie in Arizona.
I promise not to make a tasteless joke.

Do a little research maybe? I know your comment is to be snide about their SC2 team, even ignoring them take a look at their other game teams like Wong and Ortiz.

Thanks for the infos :D
Didn't know that Arizona is the "crappy part" of USA :D

Anyways, that should not affect their pro gaming training!

Keep it coming, guys! Gogo EG!

No, i meant all teams, which EG-"squad" is topclass worldwide, compared to other teams?
Or does it mean the size of sponsorships they have? Calling the team "one of the world leaders for e-sports" in all announcements must have reasons i am looking for. ^^

When I saw this on EG website I thought to myself "Wow how far pro gaming has come in the west since the release of Starcraft II" This is awesome, and it's a beautiful house to say the least. Good luck to EG and the rest of NA, hope to see more teams move into this direction.

Though they haven't made the hugest effect in the SC2 world (but as foreign SC2 teams go they are really good), they have made a HUGE effect in other games, and are one of the oldest ESPORTS teams in the world. EG, MYM, and SK Gaming were the old powerhouses for CounterStrike, Warcraft III, and DotA. EG was one of the original ESPORTS pioneers, Scoots is the shit man. They are definitely a premier ESPORTS team, however they may not be the highest class SC2 team.

This is all just not true.... Arizona is a hub for rich people to come and live during every season besides summer. As it is very nice, but the summers can be tough, especially in Phoenix. Houses are cheap in areas that have been sprawled out into the desert but water costs and such raise the cost of living quite a bit. A lower middle class family would not be able to afford this house. Arizonans might be stupid ( im looking at you SB 1070), but its not low class, crappy, nor cheap.

It's not really results that define team (especially in SC2), sure the EG SC2 squad is not as good as a lot of korean teams, but their team is larger then most (if not all) korean teams. They run their own tournaments, can afford to fly multiple players throughout the world, can afford paying a salary to players, and they have great players as it is (idra, puma, a bunch of their SF4 squad). To go along with all of this they are a team that has been around for a very long time (1999 as it states).
