It was announced today after the RPL4 awarding ceremony in Cyberarena, Kiev where RoX.kis 4-0'd IP that (T)BRAT_OK now moves to Imba.FXOpen.
Btw, he was one of the main reasons why RoX were able to win that clan war defeating (T)Kas twice in his semi-finals matches against Empire and 2-0'ing his opponent in the finals.

So now Imba has 2 out of four strongest CIS terrans, very strong belurussian zerg in their roster as well as a bunch of other solid players.

P.S. sorry, i haven't done screenshots during the event stream so will add Link to the official announcement when it's up.

edit: here is photo (sorry for the low quality): [image loading]

Quick question, since this has been bugging me. What is the difference between FXOpen and imba.FXOpen?

Same sponsor, different team and management.

No, FXOboss said tha FXOpen.imba is in no way associated with FXO except for the same sponsor.

imba is sponsored by FXOpen but not part of the actual FXOpen team, kinda like how SK gaming is sponsoring MC/Nada for foreign events.

Any reason why BRAT_OK tend to stay in russian based teams? Is it because of language barrier? I was just thinking that a player like BRAT_OK and Strelok easly could take a spot in the FXOpen lineup and compete in GSL and when FXO sponsor the imba team they must think the players have some sort of skill after all.

GL to BRAT_OK, always liked this guy since BW.

Unfortunately Brat_Ok has terrible English (unlike Strelok or WhiteRa) so he said numerous times that until he learns more English he'll stay in ex-Soviet Union. Plus imba has his old friend Strelok

He played for them in 1 clan league, so i'm assuming there has been a move or a loan.

RoX.KIS

"RoX.KIS says farewell to their little Brother
(T/N: play on words on BRAT_OK's alias)

Tomorrow RoX.KIS says farewell to one of their most famous players, RoX.KIS.BRAT_OK. Pavel plans to sign a contract with the organization imba.FXOpen.

Inside news the details await you (T/N: Not my error >>). Also it will constantly be updated: at minimum, you can expect the thoughts of Igor Andreyevich, Dimitry aka Craft.

The information about the transfer was known already by last month. Nevertheless, the news was decided to appear on the 31st of July, specifically on the day when the contract between RoX and Pavel Kuznetzov ran out (T/N: His last name has the same meaning as "Smith" in English ^^).

But, as many of us know, today, on the 30th of July, Pavel, after the third victory of RoX in RPL, publicly put on a uniform of a different organization during the translation, which formally broke a few points in his contract and provoked many rumors and subjects on the forums. We were forced to officially post this news.

The decision for the transfer was well-prepared and planned by both the organizations, and the player. It does not carry a careless character, on the contrary - every "for" and "against" were weighed and thought over.

Together with Pasha (T/N: Short name for 'Pavel') we worked from the very beginning of his gaming career. From the first victories in the regional qualifiers for WCG to the wins in the WCG national finals, DreamHack, 'Beeline' (T/N: Russian telecom company) Cup, other LAN tournaments and countless online events.

Time has shown, that relations that last too long, no matter how positive they may be, lead to stagnation. We are sure, that the change to the team as well will be to its benefit and Pavel in a new team will also be better.

For Pasha training with new teammates should be for his benefit.

For RoX - the possibilities ( financial, and time-wise) are focused on other players in our roster, to renew the team with new players. We are eagerly awaiting the beginning of work with new talents. We are already looking at a few good players. Very soon you will hear their names."

Like I said, lots of interesting information... The issue with the uniform change, and new players??

P.S. Hate to rave about this but it's so annoying how people who write Russian online just use translit on English words which have real Russian counterparts... Basically they say "tim" to mean "team" instead of just saying "komanda" which is the Russian word (and is frankly much more badass).

EDIT: Now that people care about the Russian scene again, I can translate any article you want... Just let me know which ^^ glhf FIGHTING

"Eastern European branch of the organisation, managed by different people than FXOpen E-Sports."

also considering joinging international team: ask strelok why he's chosen imba.fxo vs mouz

So what was the reason according to him?

he told in one of his interviews that he thinks that this team's organisation so far seems flawless to him and conditions that they've offered are very good. Also it is always psycologically easier for players from ex-soviet union countries to play in the ex-soviet union teams even if their english is pretty good ;P

Have you seen him play at least once before posting dumb comments? If you don't like him do not post!

I said he had a weakness in his mechanics. Do you disagree with my comment? Instead of saying random shit that has no relevance for my comment (prob because your a fanboy of him).

If you disagree with me, I can link you a lot of games to where he shows his lackluster scv production skills.

If anything it's poor strategic decisions and outdated builds, like superlate double starport TvZ. That's all going to change though once he starts getting out to more tournaments outside of Russia.

u better link a game proving his mechanics are lacking otherwise it's ur comment which sounds like a dumbshit because bratok is known across the europe as one of the best macro players xD

i agree with sadisteeg that his problem is lack of good midgame timing knowledge in both tvz and tvp but his tvt is insane throughout the game but i disagree about decision making :<

Imba is sponsored by the local FXO branch.

The team FXO is actually part of the company, its e-sports division. It goes beyond simple sponsoship.

I hope this clarifies things.

Good showing for him this weekend, must be a good feeling just after switching teams.
forgottendreams: One underage girl, two drunk guys, one gogo dancer and starcraft 2. Apparently just another day in Europe.
