In a news post on their site MYM has announced that SaSe is leaving the team.
Kim "SaSe" Hammer, known as a legend in WC3 for being one of the most succesful RTS players the eSport world has known, started his SCII career as impressive as he did in WC3 and we are proud that we were able to see the talent and developed it in its early stages. Now its time for SaSe to move on and to find out on his own, what he can reach as a fulltime SCII player. He was an extraordinary addition to our family and we will always wish him the best in the future for his private and professionel career. But sometimes things have to change in order for both parties to develop beyond their current capacities. MYM.SCII will pass through some massive changes and we are proud and excited of this changes to happen. SaSe will move to Asia for some time to live his dream of a SCII professionel to confirm once again what he is and already will be. A Legend. Good Luck Kim, thanks for being part of MYM. MYM line-up now looks as follow: * Daniel ' XlorD' Spenst * Carlo ' ClouD' Giannacco * Benjamin ' Dahli' Bredal * Jonas ' Pythonas' Bredal All fans and followers of MeetYourMakers can expect some more updates and some exciting changes in the MYM SCII Team in the near forseeable future.

I wonder if SaSe will try to join a Korean team? Perhaps FXO will suit him best.
Wouldn't surprise me if Acer snags him. A few former MYM players are already there.
It was kind of expected :/ MYM is slowly falling apart...
he obviously already has plans and wont "try to join" anything, please think twice before posting, sase is not pulling a carn there obviously.. my bet is he is going to Wemadefox together with nani and thorzain (who will be in the house).
Sad news, but it's good to see that there isn't anything bitter between the two parties. SaSe will definitely get a good team, he's a top tier protoss. MYM hinting at getting more players too, (possibly sheth???) so it will be decent for both.
MYM almost got no team left , ClouD still has a hand/arm injury I believe, XlorD is pretty good, and Dahli+Pythonas are more of a 2v2 team.
I hope SaSe can find a good team, he has the potential to be one of the best foreign players.
MYM becoming less and less relevant in SC2 it seems. Wonder where he'll go.

Cool hope he goes to Korea! What happened with the Road to Korea tournament that he won, wasn't he meant to get a code A spot or something?

Also cool. I don't mean to be rude but the MYM roster is a bit lacklustre now
hmm interesting,
wonder where he will go or will he try go it alone?

You know what's not professional? That spelling! www.instantrimshot.com
Anyway, I saw this coming. mYm is basically a dead team now.

Personally I have a hard time seeing any Korean team picking up a foreign player before they've proven themselves in Korea. Staying in the Wemadefox house is one thing, but becoming a full member of the team is another.
Might just be that MYM aren't interested in expanding into Korea, or offer continued support to players establishing themselves there. Just going wild with the guesses here. As you say he's most likely got plans already.

So Sase to Korea is happening then? Fantastic news if so. Hopefully he'll join up with Naniwa, Thorzain and Fenix and play with the F. United team.

Would be funny if he fills up Phoenix's spot in Reign!
SaSe has been playing like a beast recently. This can only be explained by him haven got a better offer from another team.
I wish SaSe finds a good Korea based team or FXO for his future.

It's been known for quite a long time he'll go to Korea, just not exactly when.
gl SaSe, one of the Protoss players that I am sort of impressed by
I don't know how they still manage to get money to run this team. MYM shouldn't even existed by now.
wait I thought they lost cloud and xlord? Am I mistaken, I'm 100% sure that there was a thread on this less than 2 weeks ago.
GL Sase! Hope you find a great team to train with!

Torch was on Startale for a few months. The IM coach said in an interview a few months ago that he would not mind to have a foreigner on his team. Considering the success Huk has had it wouldn't be a bad idea for a Korean team to try and find their own foreigner superstar. Even a couple Korean brood war teams took a chance on foreigners like Idra even though the gap in skill level between the Koreans and non-Koreans was much larger in brood war than it is now for SC2.
Wouldn't surprise me to see SaSe in a korean team, he's experienced in living around the world, iirc he lived in china for a while
Sase is really good, I hope he will find a good team and do well in korea ^^

SaSe got plans ;] he will find a good team! i think he already has!
by the way, MYM pulled out of the SC2CL Master league which begun last weekend, so obviously there are huge changes to come.
SaSe should join a KR team with foreign links. WMF, FXO, and TFOGS, or a new partnership.

That was only based on them being kicked out of the ESL-team by mondragon. And mondragon just misunderstood the esl rules. They're still with MYM
Such a cool name, Kim Hammer. Damn.
Poor MyM : ( GL to sase<3
I think MYM will pick up some new players pretty soon. It sounds like they are planning to, at least.
I hope he finds a good team, been a fan since HSC3
SaSe going all-in on Starcraft. Gl!
i think sase would have no problem with the training conditions in korea since he is playing so much anyways he would be quite a good pickup for a korean team since he has a lot of experience and the asian female fans loved him in china!
To bad MYM losing all their players. gl SaSe doe!
Great player, hopefully he'll find a great team.
Hope he doesn't join fxo.
GL SaSe! Practice hard and show us what you are capable of!
I hope MYM can pick up some quality talent in the future.

Maybe dignitas? :D That would stack your lineup more than it already is!
Well, let's wish both parties good luck.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So MYM is dead ? Only good player left is Cloud... Hope they'll recruit some good ones soon !
These are dark days for MYM
SaSe was very good in WC3 and will be very good in SC2, just look at how fast he has developed. Mass gaming does pay of.
GL SaSe, hope you join a Korean team or TL =)

get off NewmaN's account SelecT !!!!!!!
well, MYM management strikes again
Like they did when they overpaid players like Moon or Grubby back in W3 era, like they owe money to golden five aka Frag Executors, and so on and so forth. MYM should be dead by now but somehow they are still there...
And we were the bad man when talking about players leaving MYM g_G
Nothing really surprising here. MYM still slowly falling apart. I bet the next one to leave will be Cloud.
I hope SaSe will find a great team which support him while in Korea.
Would be cool if SaSe was joining one of the korean teams.

Last time I checked he was called Kim Hammar. Lousy spellchecking on MYM's part.
I've only seen SaSe play at Dreamhack and he was pretty sick in the games I watched. GL in Korea!
Also, any chance of MYM.Day[9] returning? (One can dream, right? ) As for the current roster, it's quite alarming, since, well, only half of that team plays 1v1.

They were dead. Another organization (Wicked) bought their name and website.
I know. But they are still playing under MYM tag, hence I'm referring to them as mym not wicked.

Xlord is pretty good.. but this is pretty sad, I was becoming a fan of MYM and then mondragon, gosia and SaSe leave... T_T
didn't he move to China to compete there for wc3? If anyone can verify that would be more interesting of a move since he did start out wc3 with a bang.

I hope not! The name is far too awesome for the team to die!
Im excited to see what effect moving will have on his play :D
besides, they have always had a sick dota squad
The name was awesome many years ago, now it's just a shadow of what it used to be.
sase was quite impressive in homestory cup, and then i heard he was gonna give korea a shot, so imma keep a close eye on him. gl SaSe
For someone that came into the SC2-scene in early 2011, Sase really impressed. With 3000+ ladder wins~ already, i hope he joins a korean house. Really think their trainingmethod will fit him.
Good luck in Korea, and with finding a new team.
Dignitas.SaSe is my guess.
He's really good, I hope he ends up in Korea with Nani and Thorzain.
Good luck to SaSe and good luck to MYM!
great player, always a fan. gl to him in the future!
I remember the IM coach saying that IM wants to add a foreigner to their team. I could see Thorzain, SaSe or Naniwa getting offers to join IM, but we'll see.

Hopefully he will do well in Korea. This will hopefully lead to him getting picked up by a Korean team so he can get even more beasty.
Hopefully we see him in F.United so he can rape some noobs in the team league
Would be nice if he joined HuK and Jinro in the oGs house
Liquid`SaSe
Sase mentioned on his stream last night that he leaves for Korea on August 8. I can only hope for Liquid'Sase!
Mehh his going to FOX its the wc3 team ffs...
SaSe to liquid would be nice, he could be Best to Huk's Bisu
My guess is FXO or Complexity, two teams that have the means and funds to keep a player in Korea in a pro-house practice environment.
Ouch, it's TSL all over again. SaSe was one of the best players and I really don't blame him for leaving his team since everyone else pretty much left too. SaSe will probably join a team like imba.FXO or hopefully one of the Korean teams since he's going to KR via the rakaka.se win
On July 27 2011 03:23 kovac wrote: Mehh his going to FOX its the wc3 team ffs...
lol, it's not like the foreign WC3 players joined fox for sc2!
90% he's going to join Dignitas 10% he's going to join a Korean team
imo
anyone know if there is plans for him to play for F.United?
Im hopeing hell join some korean team, dignitas. FXO or TL! Best of luck to him
one of the strongest players on the market. his working effort is just really really great. he played more games in season2 then any other western progamer (even more then kas^^). his results recently are very good too. i think he can do very well in korea.
He might go to china, even though that just my opinion based on that he was very popular in China. He didn't produce good results in warcraft 3, however he was still invited to every major tournament. I do believe he was living in china for a while as well might be wrong, at least ToD did
Just saying there are other choices... anyway, still 95% that he will go to Korea.
any chance he's joining wemadefox? i don't know anything about the wc3 scene, but if moon and other wc3 players were aware of his skill in wc3, they're probably aware of his capabilities in sc2 too.
Poor MYM.
All the best to SaSe though. Hopefully he finds everything he's looking for in Asia.
MYM hwaiting!!!

Were Sase and Artosis on MYM at the same time? Maybe he'll get Sase for Sixjax. They could really use a solid Toss player
Wow, so many people are leaving MYM. Wonder what is going to happen to them.
Hope SaSe finds a good team!! He is really looks like he has potential to be a great player!!
Aww, what a shame. Hopefully he finds another good new team.
cool so SaSe is going to try his hand at GSL?

sase lived in china for a while with grubby
sase can do well in korea and the new mym management well.......its about time they just stopped dragging the name through the mud
man wtf. I love MYM, but it looks like they're slowly dying. Really the only relevant player left to me now is ClouD. Sucks
Not suprising to me. WIth how well Sase is playing I imagine he wants to join one of the bigger teams in EU like Mouz or Dignitas.
Didn't Dignitas just pick up a ZenNex player? If so then Mouz should jump all over this.
And so ends the era where, IMO, MYM had the roster with the coolest names. Sase, Xlord, Cloud, Mondragon.
R.I.P
