"StarCraft Universe" is the rebirth of the StarCraft 2 MMO mod "World of StarCraft" that took the collective StarCraft 2 and World of Warcraft communities by storm last January. Ryan "Creation" Winzen and his team have just released a new raid trailer for the SC2 mod and it is absolutely stunning. Shown in the video are things like character creation, spells, abilities, and epic raid environments. I don't want to spoil everything, but keep an eye out for the fight against the Mutalisks in the video, it's awesome.
What do you think of StarCraft Universe? Does this look like a mod you're interested in? According to Winzen, the mod won't see a full release until after the launch of StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, he said in an interview Pixelated Geek. On the bright side, we'll be able to test out the PvP before Blizzcon in October.
I personally used to play WoW a lot, quit a while ago and haven't looked back since, but this looks pretty interesting and fun.

Looks pretty interesting - but they need to be careful they don't make it too much like WoW :/ (imo). Already I've seen a few abilities identical to it.
Other than that this looks freaking sweeeeeet

nahh i dont think that i will buy a mod to play pvp or to grind some stuff
pvp=D3
grind=ladder
but its a nice Project i hope he will have success with that.

If they can fix the awkward third person view movement, I'll probably play this map lots.
But from the maps with first/third person view, the movement controls have been too awkward, not playable at all 
Looks great though, I hope it will be as cool as it looks

Wow this mod looks too good to be true, I wonder when its going to be released!
Also if blizz release the LAN for Sc2 you wont have any playing this mod with your friends!

Very nice, but I hate a lot blur and EXTREMELY contrast picture at some moments (battle near Hybrid as example). very hard for eyes.
