So I tried downloading a KR client, hoping I would be able to log on with my TW account. This because I don't like the chinese sounds, and the text is in a really weird font. But I don't read korean =| anyone have any idea what this error is saying?

The weird part is that it is actually showing my name in the background of this error as well, so its connecting somehow. Just refuses to actually let me play through it

i am talking to people on the kr server while I bought the TW account.

which means they are linked or partially linked.

it might mean that the matchmaking isnt linked yet, but chat is.

I would just Copy and Paste your native SCII game folder (You can do this since all blizzard games are 'portable') and use the SCII localize in the OP. Thats what i did. If you want to use the Korean sounds there's a thread somewhere that allows you to change the sound files with out tampering with the game and flagging Warden.

EDIT: Right now you cannot use KR client to get on with TW account.

Hey guys , I wanted to maybe save someone else this hassle/ see if anyone else has had this problem.

I added my 1150 Point battlenet card from offgamers to my U.S. account and when I go to buy the game its giving me this message

No one else has had this problem? your games connect to the Taiwanese servers?

Once you buy the points from the offgamers site. Make a battle.net account using a hotmail email and put that you live in Taiwan. You will need a NID number but you can get that from a generator. Then just create the account. Once you have made the account buy the game digitally. It will say you need 1150 ptp and when it ask for the code just use the serial number that you got from offgamers. It will add your points so you dont have to do all of those other steps. You just use the serial number that you got from offgamers to buy the game and thats it. Did it today and it worked.

Just a note though, you dont really need to do that, you can add it to your existing BNET account by simply changing your region temporarily to TW.

Sure was, the option was there on the 16th of july (see WCX's posts a few days back)
Perhaps their maintenance is simply just a 'restocking' of some kind.

It will change some language, But MOST of it should be in your native client language. At least that was the case for English.

This is My Taiwan client as of now: http://i.imgur.com/QkEk9.jpg , yup, Pro Silver.

What I Did was:

1.) Copy (Ctrl + c ) + Paste (Ctrl + V) my SCII Folder and renames it to "KR StarCraft II"
2.) Unzipped localize to the support folder.
3.) When it asks for the first language, chose your native client language
4.) Choose the zhTW language as target language
5.) ...
6.) Profit.

No you actually bought the easier way.

All you have to do now is logon to tw.battle.net, use the recharge link (top right i believe on tw bnet) to add points to your account, and then use those on sc2 (this is all done within tw.battle.net)
