You can try using the other method people are posting, but I'm looking around as we speak for the thread someone posted a while ago which no longer works. He posted voice packs for every language, so I might be able to get them working again if I can work out why they stopped working in the first place. Ok, found the thread and took a look at the files. The reason the old method of audio language swapping stopped working was because the uploads he provided were for the entire enGB.SC2Assets instead of just the sounds. Whenever a patch is released, other parts of this MPQ also get updated but because a different language MPQ was being used, it was unable to do so. I extracted the 'Sounds' only part of the MPQ and uploaded it individually.

This has all the Russian audio, replace it just as instructed with the Korean audio.
If anyone is interested in using a different language again, let me know and I'll post it then. I have 20kb/s upload speed so I won't be uploading them any time soon unless people actually ask for them, otherwise I'll probably upload one per night or something.

Thanks for the help!
Is it possible that you can swap the language via something similar as well?

Wouldn't playing KPop on an iPod provide a more accurate OSL experience?

Thanks man, after watching some koreans and WhiteRah streaming I really liked the Voices they had there,
So.. I guess this is a under my won risk thing right?
Also of the 2 methods posted which one do you think is the safer one?

Also of the 2 methods posted which one do you think is the safer one? People feel safer using the other method because they aren't editing any MPQs themselves, but they both produce the exact same result. Neither is more or less likely to get you banned over the other.

Thanks man, I guess I will give it a shot. And wow saw your Blog, many sweet things there. Maybe we should create a thread in Bnet to see what and what can´t be done? Just to set a precedent? Haha, anyways thanks for all of this. I think I will be customizing the crap out of my SC2

Many people have attempted posting it on the official bnet forums and I've no idea why. It's against the ToS and that's that. Don't expect to get a blue post saying "It'll be fine, go ahead!"

Ahh Ok then, but from what you said you have been using this for a while now right? So I guess they are Ok with this, hahah sorry for bothering you.
Just a few last questions, when a patch hits do we need to redownload a new version of the sound pack? Does this affect campaign too?(I kinda want to see how the campaign is in other languages )

No, when a new patch comes out you're audio should be fine. It doesn't affect the campaign. I'm guessing the other method posted will, seeing as you have to download so much more, but if you do that, you have to run repair.exe whenever a patch is released.

I wonder if it'd be too much to ask Blizzard to ask for a language selection option no matter what server you play on. I have friends that speak Korean that would prefer that option but would still rather play on the US server.

Hi! I just wanted to say that I love your mod, and was hoping you could post sound files for German and Polish if possible.
Thanks again!
