Gogogo Ryung! It's a wild card to play in the up and down matches, people who won their RO16 match are already qualified for the up and downs, so there was absolutely no point in loosing the RO16 games ^^.
Gogogog Jinro and Sheth!!!

lol edit: I thought it was like the original wild card for Liveforever, but this is just for a spot in the up/downs, silly me, GO SHETH/JINRO

BUT IT'S AWESOME BECAUSE SHETH AND JINRO HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE!!! The winner of this tournament has an equal chance as a ro8 player. they arent giving a code S spot. They are giving away Rain's spot in the up and down matches since he finished bottom of group A (due to ff loss)

I think they have it so that nobody is guaranteed the spot, but that they get a chance to play the up/down matches in place of Rain.

Well I'm pretty much okay with any of those 8 players, so I guess it's a win-win situation for me.

They dont get a Code S spot, Rain went 0-2 by not showing up to his code S group, so he is down to the Up/Down matches, the winner gets Rain's Up/Down spot. Just as if they had qualified for the ro8.

Isn't Sheth and FXO returning from Korea? I'm trying to ask, will he just forfeit his Code-A spot?

judging by that tweet, im willing to bet jinro won :D (a little fanboyism cant hurt my reaching this conclusion lol)

its actually worse than if they qualified for ro8, cause they only get 1 shot @ code s, instead of 2 like the code A ppl

That's now how they do Up/Downs anymore. They put everybody into 3 groups of 5, play round robin, and the top 2 from each group goes to code S.

Oh true, i guess its even more fair then
Edit: are you sure? the up/down format has changed this season i think everybody is equal now.

the tweet was from 18hours before the tournament started, the tournament itself was the surprise not that someone won it already

Pretty unlikely, but since its not broadcasted it would be nice if they released the replays
