Detective Waxangel!!

Would be cool if he joined startale, though also said he is not joining a western team.

Not surprised at this, to be honest. Don't they both have military service coming up soon?

I believe the whole team is salaried, but Tester and FD were the highest paid at around $30k each.

Ah, yes, that is correct.

No correlation, probably.

Ofc its just obvious that the founder of the team and code S players are salaried players

startale needs a protoss i guess but tester's not really been relevant since the beta, just been hanging around code s somehow doing nothing

He and FD has at least been hanging to their S code thrones so I have hope that they will rise again! Sad that FD might join other team but it's good for them to leave TSL I guess. Maybe this will make them practice more and get more motivation. FD needs to join the ranks of Losira and Nestea. aka IM!

Good, now I don't feel bad about not being able to trade for Tester onto my anti-team in Fantasy.

Otherwise, good for Tester but he's never been impressive at all since Season 1. Hope Fruit can grab a team as well.

Hmm StarTale is one of my favorite teams, so it's good to see them gain another well known Code S player, but his results have been going down hill. As someone else said, I would rather see ST pick up someone with potential rather than someone who is already just surviving in Code S, but maybe they already have enough players with potential, and for now they want some relatively big names... and ST's training may help improve Tester's play. Hopefully he does well. Go ST!

Also, someone tell Tester that the name "Tester" is way cooler than "Trickster."

Although Startale is my favourite Korean team, would love to see FD on a foreign team.

made it out of his (3 player) group in code s, so who knows.. but yeah

Good to see that Startale picked up a mentor for Squirtle and Ace.
Congratulations to Trickster.

Now I wonder where Fruitdealer will end up.

That's a good pickup for Startale, a toss with alot of experience who can help Ace and Squirtle get over whatever they need to get over in order to do well. Now for Fruitdealer.........

I would love it so much if BoxeR picked him up...

well, making it out of that group really ended up being luck tbh. He got a freebie vs. rain that July didn't have the chance to have.

thats what i mean, he maintains code s, but i wouldnt really consider it as being great under these circumstances.. trickster just continues to fail to impress me..

It's possible that they want to get a stronger already established line up, they have a couple of solid players but they already have a lot of up and comming players like Virus and Tiger.
Althought they do already have July, Bomber and Ace...so...Who knows.

Yeah, but thats kinda my point.. ST already have established players such as July and Bomber, and to a lesser extent Ace/Squirtle.. Really dont see much upside in them picking up an established protoss that has gotten kinda stale, without posting any real recent results..

i mean, a code s player is obviously valuable.. just dont think he'll add much to ST, hopefully ST can improve him more than i think he will improve them..

Edit: typo

Yea Tester won't add anything. Tester is still a beast of a Protoss despite the general consensense that he doesn't practice. The main reason being that he doesn't need to in the TSL house. Now thought he's joining a house where he isn't the top dog anymore and most likely will be practicing a bunch. Yea Tester adds nothing.

Nice i think its a good pickup for startale, he is a player with lots of experience regardless of his results recently. A few months ago people were saying he had the best PVZ in korea, so him and july zerg can boss up the PVZ

Pretty sure the whole main team got salary they were just the highest payed. Obviously new pickups etc probably wouldnt get salary but im pretty sure at least everyone with a GSL spot was salaried.

Now I'm really wondering why they left TSL. It's not like StarTale practices less than TSL - if anything, ST probably practices more - and ST also doesn't offer salaries to their players, right? I suppose it really could be them wanting to go to more foreign tourneys, but even that doesn't make sense, since TSL now has a shit ton of players in the NASL qualifiers.

Darn, I was hoping they wouldn't be picked up as they're both on my anti-team. T.T
