You can definitely still change your team man ^_^. You can resubmit up to the deadline.
I don't understand your Guineapig and Line choices. Line because Line played pretty damn well in the recent GSL. I think he actually might be value for money. He has no history, but he got pretty far in the supertournament and lost in a respectable way.
Guinea... I just don't know. I feel like there are safer players for points.

Here's my shot, hehe:
Team nOWhiTheDudEz:
+ Show Spoiler +
Edit: Seems like need to put some explanation: Bomber wins will be my tiebreaker so i think, it's a good pick+ he's just new to code S and is pumped to show off.
Fruidealer, he said in GSL code S grp making he will retire if does bad= he's training harder. Gumiho: Blue flame hellion for TvT. Hero: oGs powerhouse since beta. horror: Did cood in code A classifiers + seen some of his play A+. MC, the beast he is+ assured he would train as if he would retire if doesn't win this season-> aka mega boss mode MC. TheStC: will be looking for a good showing after being so close to code A, ladder monster, + sick strat/multitask skillz(not to mention oGs). Yugioh: think played some good matches and has to pick a cheap one xD. MVP: DRG+Keen and co. will put max effort and prolly make it far.
Antis: New guys ^_^, + Tester being kinda training lil, he even wanted to get the free win from nestea's grp lol

Over 20 pages in and still seeing 8-9 point picks for captain. What will you do if that captains team is eliminated and you're stuck with a 9 point paper weight? I don't get it.... Actually, I think i might be one of the few who do get it?!

After some thought, totally changed my team:
Protoss OP
Main Team 5 Alicia 3 Frozen 1 Hero 5 July 3 Keen 9 MC (captain) 2 Tassadar 3 Twilight 4 Prime
Anti Team 3 Check 5 Lyn 5 Moon
The team theme was totally unintentional. It was just after I looked at the team view that I realized I had all protoss, so hopefully racial imbalance will play out in my favor.
I suspect oGs, Slayers, and MVP to do well so I tried to stack on those teams. July, Twilight, and Tassadar are players I think their respective teams will have to rely on as one of their better players and I feel like all of them are capable of big sweeps. I put Prime over MVP as my team since I feel like Prime has the capability for all-kills moreso than MVP and the team score is more dependent on big margin wins than just winning. My anti-team is my only maybe as I stacked on F.United players I don't suspect will do well so I won't get any points for the first 5 weeks and I think Moon and Lyn will still do bad once they start playing.

Thanks for the comment Sabu i was basing my team off team stats, not how they did in tourneys like the GSL (probably kinda stupid lol) have no idea who Line is haha also, do you mind tellin me where you can change the team? i have no idea

+ Show Spoiler +Kaze FIGHTINGMain Team5 AliciaThis guy is a beast, he's going to play often and he's consistently good. one of the only/few SlayerS actually in Code S. They have to play him in almost every matchup. 4 GuMihoAnother awesome player who saw lots of play last season, i expect him to play a lot, and play solidly for a bo1. 1 HeroThis guy is way underrated and a steal at 1 point. he's really good, and now that he's qualified for code A will probably see a lot more of him in gstl. My only concern is in the ogs rankings how he'll fit in for a P player with MC, Inca, and HuK all fighting for a spot. 9 MMA (captain) Kind of a rough call on this one. MMA will see games, and as the ace, he'll probably pick up a lot of bonus points, but with slayers being as deep as it is, there'll be times he doesn't see games and that'll suck hard with him being worth 1/4th of my entire team. just hoping he isn't phased by his ST finals performance. 3 RevivaLone of the few good TSL players imo, and he's shown he's pretty good in individual AND GSTL performances, he's probably one of TSL's more go-to guys, and as a zerg who isn't afraid of P, he'll be a valuable asset for only 3 points. 3 ShethFXO's Ace probably behind Twilight, he's gonna play and play often and he's shown he is good against all matchups. And gotta support FXO somehow =] 2 TheStCwith him out of military and him finally coming back to form, this guy will beast, and he'll be a good early round fighter to save ogs team from having to send out bigger guns early. this guy is ranked like #3 in the korean Elo, 2 points? yes please. 3 TwilightSame as with Sheth, highly skilled player, ace/captain/star player for FXO, will see lots of play. 6 SlayerSThis was rough to squeeze in points for, but just like going for SKT1 in FPL, it's almost a guaranteed sure bet to win points. Anti Team2 EnsnareHas this guy ever even played in the GSTL? and with some of the better oGs players coming back (The STC, Hero) he'll probably rarely if ever see play time. easy pick 5 KillerHe has his moments, but I feel like he's not as good as he is thought to be, he had a good run last gsl, but his style of play hasn't been amazing enough for me to be scared and TSL will probably end up having to save him for ace matches, meaning he'll see less playtime. 6 TricksterI love Ki-Soo as a person and player, but I can't help but feel he chokes when things are on the line, and GSTL there is going to be a lot on the line every match.
actually changed up my team a little bit to try to better maximize my players potentials. swapped out rainbow and balanced out my team a bit more. explanations in the spoiler.

They're using a new format. It's similar to Proleague now, not the elimination tournament it used to be.

Alright, just made my team. I basically was going for a combination of my favorite players, and players I thought were underpriced. I ended up being heavily invested in team F.United, because not only are Moon/Thorzain/Naniwa great players at the price of 5/4/4 but they're also going to be playing a lot because the team's so small. The team itself seemed like a steal at 1 point so I went with it - I would have preferred a different team but I didn't want to give up any individual players in order to get a more expensive team.
Here's what I have: MMA (Captain) July Alicia Moon Thorzain Naniwa Taeja Huk Team F.United
When it came to the anti-team I really had no idea how to pick, I just kinda randomly picked San, Trickster, and The Best.

If you just go to your FGSTL page (click features, fantasy, starcraft 2 fantasy) you'll see your team with drop downs available. you can change your team and resubmit it.

I don't want to give away my team, but it seems to be people are picking based on strength of the player when I think that is pretty much a wash. Anyone else have any opinions on that? I'll post my team and some in depth analysis after the deadline.

you realize this is a round robin 2 division style league now, and not just a single elimination tournament like before right? you are guaranteed at least 5-6 matches per team even if your team loses every single one.

I do wonder if it's worth choosing only Slayers players and hoping for an undefeated slayers run. I bet that that team would perform better than 75% of all TL teams.
EDIT: All right calling it, this isn't going to be my actual team, but I'm putting this down now to see later what the final total would be if you bet everything on Slayers
SlayerS
Main Team 5 Alicia 2 BoxeR (captain) 3 Frozen 5 GanZi 4 Min 6 Ryung 2 Taeja 2 YuGiOh 6 SlayerS

Team Solid
+ Show Spoiler +
Never done this before, should be fun. Mainly I just tried to spread my team out between a lot of different teams and pick solid role players who should be seeing action every week. If anyone wants to give suggestions or advice PM me ^^

Ladies and Gentlemen. I present you:
Team Ugguuuu!
After consulting with my team of experts (me) i have come to conclusion that i am already the winner and the season comes to an early end. I am verry sorry for being superior.

First time poster. Been a lurker but signed up to TL as soon as I saw this.
My Main team - Breaking the Artosis curse.
+ Show Spoiler +Main Team 8 Losira (captain) 5 Alicia 4 Clide 4 Genius 3 Sheth 2 Coca 1 Nuclear 1 Huk 8 Incredible Miracles
- My first 4 players, Losira, Alicia, Clide and Genius are some of the best there teams have to put out but aren't there reserve ace players which should see them get alot of games in.
- If FXO are going to do well, Sheth's likely going to have to shoulder the burden.
- Coca and Nuclear are low costing decent players on weaker teams so they seem a logical choice.
- Huk will have a hard time getting games on OGS, but his dreamhack win might just get him a spot as a wild card starting player. After all he is the only player thats actually experienced against the FXO team members (not that OGS may need that...)
- And lastly team IM. Nestea. MVP. Losira. I'm confident they'll produce results week in week out to justify there cost.
Anti Team
+ Show Spoiler +Anti Team 7 Alive 3 Check 3 Rainbow
- At 7 points alive seemed way to highly valued.
- Check and rainbow have just flatout been struggling recently.

Team: Hukkering Hukotash + Show Spoiler + Huk 1 MKP 8 Nada 4 July 5 Clide 4 Seed 3 Losira 8 Ace 2 Team: F. United
Anti-team: + Show Spoiler +Trickster 6 Yugioh 2 Guineapig 5
Huk was a steal at 1 point. MKP is consistent in everything. Losira is obviously strong. Ace was underpriced as was Nada and July IMO. Anti-team is a bunch of jobbers as far as im concerned

i've already submitted my lineup, but just out of curiousity, when deciding lineups, is it better to select players based off how they've done in team matches or how they've done in individual events like the GSL?
|
+ Show Spoiler +Main Team4 ClideHe's Clide, he's awesome. 2 CoCaReally solid player for 2 points imo. 1 HuKHe's a steal at 1 point, but there is a risk he won't play. His success at DH might have oGs put him on the lineup though. 9 MMAHe's SlayerS ace, and they know what they're doing in GSTL. Also I'm a huge fanboy. 4 NaDaUndervalued imo, but there's risk he will not play often since he is a student and all. 4 NaNiwaF.United players are solid picks in my eyes, as their team is so small that you're gauranteed to get lineup points for them. Plus theres a bit of wishful thinking for foreign success in there as well. 2 Taeja2 points for a player that got an all-kill is fine with me! 4 ThorZaIN (captain) Picked him up for many of the same reasons as Nani. Made him captain cause I don't think I'll want to ditch him any time soon, should be a consistent point scorer. 6 SlayerSSlayerS are two time GSTL champs, they know how to play this game in this format. Anti Team4 FruitDealer3 RainBOw6 TricksterFD and RainBOw are both pretty bad nowadays, despite their early success. Trickster is meh, will probably be okay, but I had to hit 13 points and he was the weakest 6 pointer in my eyes.
