DSG Main Team 8  DongRaeGu (captain) Has done very well in previous seasons.4  GuMiho Same as DRG2 Junwi Won the IM in house tournament, could easily see him playing some games an winning.3 Kyrix Disputably Zenex's best player will play a game for sure and maybe win.2 Qxc Was cheap on points and can take a game or two from some of the weaker top koreans.5  San Same as Kyrix2 Taeja All killed Zenex previously, will be used for sure and will take a game or two.4 ThorZaIN Maybe some wasted points I dunno, but I believe.6 SlayerS I see them winning alot of games, a solid choice they have a lot of snipers. Anti Team 2 Ace Will get used and fail as always like recently (I hope)3 Keen Will get used and sniped imo.8 NesTea Is such a big target I can easily see him getting sniped.Why I chose my team and general realization of my mistakes and changes I've made to my team ^^ + Show Spoiler + My team I see my anti team easily playing and possibly getting sniped especially Keen and nestea. For my core team I've chosen a big gunner DRG and chosen a player from each team, not the best player from each, but ones that have had very strong showings previously but cost very little points. Such as Junwi, Kryix and Taeja. Just realized Hero was one point TT. Dammit! I'll be trading him in then asap xD Really regretting not seeing Hero for 1 point, he will get used for sure and knocked DRG out of qualifiers ><. Actually I should have thought this through. Thorzain was a dumb pick for the time being considering he won't play for a while and could have traded in for him when he is actually going to play.... Could have had a player that will play soon ><. Oh sweet just realised I can change it :D. Swapping our Thorzain for Hero and buying a bigger player. With having more point from that I splashed out on Alica. Changed my Anti picks cause I didn't realise how it worked to begin with. I see Frozen getting used to start and will lose, Leenock will get unlucky as always and FD hasn't been playing his best lately. Team v2, why I made changes above ^^^ [+ Show Spoiler +[/b] | ||

Main Team 5 Alicia (captain)5  GuineaPig1 Jinro4 NaNiwa8 NesTea2 Qxc3 Sheth2 Taeja6 SlayerS Anti Team 8 DongRaeGu4 FruitDealer4 ThorZaINMy team is mostly based of fanboy-ism...I picked SlayerS because they won the last two GSTL's and their players are just becoming better and better. Alicia as my captin because Alicia plays a sick protoss and is one of my favorite players ^.^. GuineaPig mostly because he's random and it's hard for the opposing team to put someone up against him, he's probably gimping himself as random, but he's still pretty solid. Jinro because...he's Jinro man. Naniwa because he is a total baller, he probably could have won TSL if he didn't throw away units to Thorizain's tanks early on. Nestea because he won 2 GSL's pretty convincingly. QXC is fanboy-ism again because he is definately in my top 3 foreigner terrans. Sheth is just a stupid good player. He's probably going to be FXOpen's ace, he's definately their best player. Taeja because he is just solid. He all killed a team in last GSTL which on it's own is heroic. My anti-team is kind of wierd. I picked Fruitdealer because he has had really terrible proformances since the first GSL, even though I still really like him  . DRG I think is good, but not THAT good, mostly a random call though. Thorzain is on here because I don't like watching Thorzain win, I think that he's going to lose steam soon and just kind of vanish personally, He plays well when he can prepare for a certain match for a long time. The set up at the GSTL is kind of going to screw him over because he is just randomly called to play. | ||

Main Team + Show Spoiler + 9 MMA He's been an absolute beast in team leagues so far, so he was an obvious decision for me9 MC Same as MMA, he is probably the best toss around at the moment5 July I really like July as a palyer, plus he is ST ace and will probably play a lot3 Keen One of the most talented players in MVP IMHO2 Taeja Cheap player considering his results in last GSTL2 Ace Nice player for 2 points1 HuK (captain) HuK: 'nuff said1 oGsHero 1 point for someone who beat DRG is a bargain IMHO4 MVP Probably they will not win GSTL, but this team is quite cheap and can put up a fight even against teams like oGs or SlayersAnti Team + Show Spoiler + 6 Trickster 4 FruitDealer Back in season 1, I thought TSL was the best team, with FD and Tester. Unfortunately they've been slumping HARD, and most of the games in the last GSTL season were won by aLive. I would really like not to put these two guys in my anti team, but i need to do it. 3 Choya I don't like Choya. Period. | ||

Main Team + Show Spoiler + Anti Team + Show Spoiler + Betting on previous performances for my main. Also hoping that my anti players are the ones that get the fewest plays. I still might sub out Killer for Zenio...but since Zenio is the only relevant zerg on oGs, I think he'll see action even if he is terrible in Korea. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + The Break Down: Captain: MC It's no doubt that oGs is a very skilled team with many great protosses such as Hero, HuK, Inca, and of course MC, but when have you seen a match where MC didn't come out, win 1 or more games, then proceed to call his team feeders. MC is almost guaranteed an appearance in most GSTL games. Player 1: ST.Ace While Ace's GSL showings have been pretty lackluster, the dude is a monster when it comes to team games. At times he really is the team's ace, and the number 1/2 (Squirtle pending) Protoss on the ST team. His past preformances have there and he is usually called when ST needs to snipe a Zerg. A really cost effective pick up. Player 2: BBongBBongPrime Prime has a lot of players that sit in that "well I guess they're good" area, MKP was hella expensive and BBongBBong has seemed to do well for himself in foreign scenes as well as the inhouse tourney. Player 3: MVP.GuineaPig How are you going to prepare for a guy who plays Random and can play each race on at least a Code A level. You can't, that's how. Player 4: GuMIhO.fOu Makes a frequent appearance, qualified for Code A, used to play Random and is reported to still maintain a high level playing ability with all races. Efficient buy. Player 5: ZeNEX.Line Top player in ZeNEX, impressive muta control and his series against TOP really sold him to me as a player to look out for. Player 6: SlayerS'Taeja All-killed ZeNEX, finals of the clash of the houses, nuff said. Player 7: IMYounghwa Best, and really the only known protoss on the IM team, guaranteed PvP sniper. Antipick Player 1: MVP.Genius While Genius has been one of the players remain in that middle area, he's been managing MVP. Not to mention he's made no real progress from the begining of the year. Antipick Player 2: TSL.Trickster Tester is like Genius but he can;t seem to catch up at the same rate Genius is, not to mention he doesn't really have the greatest pool of players to train with. Antipick Player 3: ST.Virus Just strikes me as one of those Terrans who has made themselves exist in the scene but don't really stick out or show any specialties or quality traits. | ||

I wanted one of the Terran Powerhouses, so I invested 9 points into MMA, hoping that he won't let me down, and synergizing with my team choice. Alicia and Killer are too very strong Protoss, and I wanted to have a good TSL player. Genius and July would have been the alternatives here, but while I'm a huge fan of the latter, both just feel not consistent enough, July often showing his ZvZ-weakness and even losing to Huk today. Team MVP will continue it's rise to the very top in my opinion, so I chose Keen as their representative in my roster, liking both his playstyle and his personality (also, DRG was just too expensive). Virus is a Startale Terran with potential, I chose him over Rainbow, who has been declining ever since the first GSL. With their top players far too costly I included Yonghwa to bring me some IM-points, whom I just recently stole a build from.  Finally I close with the two 1 point players MVPMonster as my single Zerg, just because he was featured in their last GSTLs intro video, and Soccer, who qualified for Code A and will surely see some play as fUnited has a relatively small roster.My anti-choices start off with GuineaPig, who is a risky choice, but 13 points want to be reached. Fruitdealer is just overhyped because of his miracle win in Season 1 in my eyes, and Maka either is in a huge slump or could not keep up with the rapidly developing skill level in the Korean Starcraft 2 scene. Main Team 5 Alicia - In contention for best protoss in korea with MC and he's only 5pts. Alicia is Code S, performed well in the super tournament and is often sent out to grab a few wins in the GSTL.8 DongRaeGu (captain) - He's the ace of MVP and one of the best Zergs in Korea along with Losira and Nestea. However since IM is a team of clutch players, they're expensive and each player is less likely to get as much airtime as DRG.1 HuK - DreamHuk, with his impressive recent performance in sweden and being the only foreigner still in Code S, I think Huk is a good choice for the 1pt he costed. Since this GSTL will include a lot more matches this time around, I think there's a good chance oGs will send him out atleast once and if he does well maybe more than once.3 Sage - He posted some good results in the LG Cinema 3D tourament beating MMA. I think he might be one of the upcoming protoss players in Korea.7 sC - sC is a really good terran, he always gets good results in gsl. He recently got 2nd place in LGcinema3D only losing out 2-3 to DRG. As a really agressive Terran he might just have the best TvZ in Korea. Also as the best player on fOu, he seems to always get sent out to mop the mess his team mates makes. Finally he doesn't have any real weakness, this coupled with the fact that he was only 7pts led me to choose him over Bomber who may be the best terran in Korea but seems to be snipable by Zergs and Mvp who is snipable by Protoss.2 Taeja - Taeja is serious beastmode, he allkilled his former clan Nex in GSTL, Won the SlayerS COTH and qualified for the LGcinema3D. On top of this he's only 2pts.2 TheStC - He's the best terran from beta. Unfortunately he got sent to the army for a while, even off his game and in the army though he managed to finish second in 2 SK Asia Championship Trophys. He's getting back into shape now and almost qualified for GSL I expect him crush some nerds.2 ViOlet - Violet is one of the few good Zergs around in Korea, he's got some beastly ZvZ and ever since he's gotten some good results ever since he's started participating in GSL, I feel like he might be the PoltPrime of Zerg.6 SlayerS - The team choice was inbetween this and IM. Slayers has a really solid line up with some beast terrans (MMA, Taeja, Ryung, Ganzi) and Alicia. Under the tutelage of Boxer and coaching Cella, I think SlayerS just has the eye of the tiger, they're going to beast mode it up (not to mention that they are 2 time gstl champions). IM on the other hand has 3 super solid players (MVP, Nestea and Losira) and some decent players who may be up and coming (YoungHwa/SEED/Yoda). These superstars however seems to either get sniped or choke in the GSTL, you can get rid of Losira with a terran, MVP with a protoss and Nestea just seems to quietly lose his game every gstl. Although I see them getting far in GSTL I think they'll lose out in the finals or semifinals. Anti Team 4 Genius - He's a decent protoss but hasn't put up good results in a while. MVP doesn't have much to send out so I'll see him going out and losing some games for me.4 Min - He showed us the impressive no gas taldarim build a while back but ever since he quietly dissapoints losing games he should've won to players like theworstfOu.5 TOP - Finally we have TOP a really good player who's been posting good results lately... But I don't like his face, it looks funny and I hope he loses because he knocked out Nestea during the super tournament. Gogogo Team tOfu, that's what's up. :D | ||

)Main Team 8 DongRaeGu+ Show Spoiler + DongRaeGu is simply an amazing player, despite not having qualified for Code A yet. The many victories he had last season, plus the recent LG Special Whatever League win convinced me to pick him over MMA, who might be a bit shaky after the ST finals. 5 GuineaPig (captain)+ Show Spoiler + Random players are an incredible tool in team league play, and GuineaPig has shown very strong play up till now. Good choice. 1 Hero+ Show Spoiler + Beat DongRaeGu to qualify for Code A. Also only 1 point, and is the second protoss in the oGs lineup. Valuable pick. 4 Min+ Show Spoiler + Min is a solid zerg, and is guaranteed playtime as one of the only zergs on the SlayerS roster. He is guaranteed to win some games with the amount of skill he has behind him. 8 Polt+ Show Spoiler + Polt is just solid. There's nothing amazing about his play per se, but he is, perhaps, the most solid player out there. 4-0'ing MMA in the ST Finals was no mean feat, and this proves that. Plus, he has unstoppable TvP. 2 Qxc+ Show Spoiler + qxc is the best foreigner on FXO, and he will only get better and better now that he's done with studies and in South Korea. His games against DongRaeGu in the Code A qualifiers show how much he's improved in the recent weeks. 3 Seed+ Show Spoiler + IM's best Protoss, so he's guaranteed to get playing time. He is also pretty solid. Well worth the 3 points. 1 SocceR+ Show Spoiler + Apparently playing strongly in WC3 right now and then went right on to qualify for Code A. That shows strong talent, being able to perform so well in two very different games. 4 MVP + Show Spoiler + Made it to the finals last GSTL, and has a deep lineup. 4 points is more than worth team MVP. | ||

Sheth and Thorzain are my hopeful picks for my main. MKPrime, Byun, Ace, Squirtle, Taeja and Virus round out my team. I don't think I'll win, but those are the players I root for! Glad Sheth was there or I wouldn't have wanted to pick a Zerg. DRG, Optikzero, and GuMiHo on my Anti. | ||

Main Team 4 Genius - Solid middle of the road pick, not a ton of risk but a huge upside imo.1 Hero - Beat DRG, worth the 1 point2 Junwi - Gut feeling?  4 Min - Should do well in the team league again, or at the very least get the opportunities to play.4 NaDa (captain) - Um, it's NaDa4 NaNiwa - Seeing a lot of love for Thorzain but imo Naniwa is going to have better control of his nerves during the GSTL. I think it'll take Thorzain much more time to settle in.8 NesTea - I think zerg is pretty strong right now, so who wouldn't pick the best zerg in the world?3 Virus - Solid play with enough chances to play, not bad at only 3.6 SlayerS - So many good players, hard to pick anyone else. Anti Team 2 Banbanssu - No idea why this pick  6 Leenock - I could just as easily see Leenock on a lot of people's main team so this is quite the gamble imo.5 Lyn - Probably the weakest player for F.U (I think), will likely have to play more games than the team would like since it's just a mix match of FOX players and foreigners. | ||

Main Team 5 Alicia One of SlayerS' more common players, and a PvT sniper who can win games after his snipe.8 DongRaeGu (captain) DRG seems to bring his team back from the brink a bit. An ace player who should play relatively often, something you just don't get much.4 GuMiho Has a very strong record over recent GSTLs, and plays alot. Good value for 4 points1 HuK A fucking bargain for the new DH champion, and I get the feeling that with this being the first season that allows foreigner mercs to compete, oGs will want to cater to their foreign fans by putting Huk and Jinro out there,1 Jinro Should get games for the same reason that Huk will. Jinro has shown that he can develop one-off builds to win an individual game, even though he's slumping, like his SkyTerran vZ3 Keen Good value for a code S calibre player, and one of the players MVP will be counting on to deliver4 NaDa Seems to get a decent amount of face time for oGs and a strong overall player that is capable of taking multiple games in a series4 ThorZaIN Shown the ability to compete with Koreans, even without living in Korea. Seems to be very strong against people who have never seen his style before, and that would apply to alot of the Korean players.6 SlayerS Two time defending champs, no reason to say more. Anti Team 4 FruitDealer Still slumping hard personally, and his team has been doing poorly as well.5 Killer Killer gets alot of hype from Tastosis, and I believe alot of it is undeserved. Again, TSL is in a slump4 Line Overvalued because of his surprising Super Tournament showing. He'll fall back into obscurity. | ||

In hindsight, I'll probably regret picking July the most. I'm not sure how much he can really deliver in the team league, and he costs 5. Taeja and Yonghwa are the two low cost players I expect a lot from. Thorzain, HuK and QXC out of foreigners. | ||
