MC is a damn baller, I have no idea why he wanted to co-cast with me but I am glad he did.
I did manage to get a rip from a webcam, since we didn't get any photos. There's no audio on this, but just in case you want to see what was happening.

I really admired how much Totalbiscuit let MC cast. He knew how much the fans wanted to hear it so he kept up asking MC questions about the game. Kudos TB!!!

Well, he said it was his build so he may recognized it earlier its his build than he told us. Still baller. True.

I'm not sure you understand how cocasting works.
I completely understand im just saying neither you nor MC were doing real analyzing of the game. Also i have not been watching DH so wasn't sure if he casted on a different stream as well.

The games were unbelievably one sided, MC did all the analysis required, ie. being a wizard and calling HuK's builds 3 years before they happened.

It seems that MC only casted the Huk vs Tarson series on TB's stream that day, so these are currently the only VODs of him.
However, the series itself may have been covered on the other 4 streams, though without MC casting.
It seems like you guys had a lot of fun. I know it was a great deal of fun to watch live. MC's english was pretty impressive, especially considering he still seems to prefer to do his interviews in korean.
The series wasn't cast on any other stream, there are a lot of games and Dreamhack doesn't stream games on multiple streams, with the exception of one game if I recall.
MC's English has improved leaps and bounds from months ago when he said 'I have good brain.' In a few more months to a year, if he keeps learning, he'll be pretty damn fluent.

Yeah.. maybe because TB isn't an analyst. And maybe MC's English isn't up to scratch? That's why there was no analysing. Way to point the obvious captain!
And I lol'd so hard when MC just yelled "OOO OOO IMBA REPAIR!!!" I was on the floor in stitches xD

I guess you don't understand how to read then 'cause you go into a thread titled MC casting with TB, when there is a Dreamhack thread which explains all of the casting situation. Instead you go into this other thread and flame TB, even if you put the qualifier in that you are 'not wanting to be a hater'. No need to be ignorant, use the search function or look at the main dreamhack threads.

Well it is his build lol. He most likely knows the entire build order down to the very last supply. Also probably knows which maps its good on.
Throughout the cast you can see MC's fingers acting like their on a keyboard, lol I just say I have done that before while spectating, my fingers go into auto pilot doing what I think needs to be done and just going through the motions.
Totalbiscuit completely won me over today. If you see past the "analysis" casting, he's absolutely amazing and deserves credit for being one of the best colour casters in the world.
And having MC, one of the best players in the world, co-cast is just brilliant; even though he doesn't speak English fluently, he still has a lot to add, and you've got to respect that. You've done yourself proud, TB, and MC is a baller of the highest order.
I can't wait for the day when the Queen knights MC and TB, and we have Sir Min Chul and Sir Totalbiscuit.
This is why people love the shit out of MC, he's not only an amazing player but he puts himself out there and really wants to interact with foreign fans, he makes an effort to learn english and interact with foreigners. He really is a nerd baller, mad respect.

You mentioned casing games with TLO what about more games with MC tomorrow would like to give it a chance and watch it live if I could.
It's great to see how far MC's english has come. And despite any past feelings against totalbiscuit, i don't understand how anyone could hate on the casting of this series here.
It's great to see MC wanting to participate in a foreign tournament like this in a manner other than playing, and it's obvious that he's been trying quite hard to learn english. English is actually one of the most difficult languages to learn if it isn't your first language.
It's nice to see a korean player taking steps to be more of a part of the foreign scene, because with the e-sports boom going on in the west right now there's nothing but motivation to do so. His korean counterparts should follow his example and get more involved in the Western community, other than just traveling to tournaments.

And you must be better than him right? .... Stop trolling.
I loved the cast, however I'd suggest that next time TB use easier words and phrases so that MC can understand better. TB was a little too eloquent for MC's english level.
It was awesome though, hopefully we see some more of this!
That was Awesome TB, EVERYBODY wanted to hear MC when this was announced. Thanks for bringing us this, maybe when MC's english develops further (even though it is amazing for the amount of time that he is out of Korea) I think he could make a very good and funny caster. Keep up the good work TB! Bringing great new things, such as Korean+Foreigner casting, great stuff. <3

Excellent work TotalBiscuit! I was impressed on how you made the co-casting with MC work with ease, and MC was just hilarious. It looked like you two had a lot of fun
had me grinning like a madman all the way through. painstakingly good. cast with our german hero TLO today is also awesome because of darios great eastern german accent...i'm rofling to that every time.
My only qualm with total biscut is that he was trying to totally dominate MC. He needed to give MC a few more seconds to get his ideas out. He kept cutting him off. However, I hope MC gets to cast more games.

What? If it wasn't for TB asking questions you would hardly hear MC talk. He was helping him bigtime to get him into talking about the game.

I had absolutley no fun from watching those games. MC's level of speech is ok for being outside Korea, I guess, but it's really hard to listen to him in a relaxed mode. Everyone should do their jobs: casters talk, pros play.

Well some people are incredible ... you can't expect MC to be the best at english. How can you complain when the best protoss in the world talks about a pvx game , he might not be the best , but he will be better in time if he keps it up that's for sure. I watched it and even if i am not from a english talking country i could understand MC i guess the problem is on your end :D

thats what makes casters like TB unique, they may not be the most knowledgable ones but they have a very good way in bringing the show, hyping up the game, and asking the right questions to the (possible) co caster with the knowledge (so MC in this case)
MC's english improved by literally about 75% going from Saturday to Sunday which I think is pretty incredible. Also, he seems so fun and everything compared to the persona he uses for interviews and against Idra, but perhaps it's the translations that make it seem this way.
MC such a boss, No matter if you dont like his style, or his protoss-ness, everyone has to agree that the MCBossToss is great for e-sports and great for sc2, and even better for the Korea-International SC2 partnership.
MC genuinely wants to connect with the foreign SC2 scene and not just in terms of winning, but building a sense of partnership between Korea and everywhere else. A boss in every sense of the word and a pleasure to co-cast with.
Amazing to see his confidence grow in commentating in English too, he's very humble about it, asked again today like I'd actually refuse or something.

MC said he intentionally puts up that cocky persona for entertainment and also to calm his nerves or something along the lines of that.
That is great news and it's really showing how big a leap the SC2 scene has taken lately. MC truly is an ambassador of Korean SC2, because he relates to the fans strongly, brings in emotions, which spice up every sport and supports the intertwining of both foreign and Korean communities.
Blame MLG for Koreans coming to win tournaments. The hype and warm welcome by fans was what will bring them back time and again.
TB: Chances are MC likes you or you were the only one available to take on a co-commentator. Even if the second is the reason, I think the first will be from now on. Many people would kill (hopefully figuratively speaking) to cast with you and many would kill to cast with MC. You both made a lot of people happy and jealous, muhaha.
It's so awesome to see MC get excited during the big fights and when he agrees with players decision making. In a way the slight cultural/language barrier makes it better, MC just tells it like it is, with sound effects and generous use of "imba" ;D

I loved hearing his thoughts on terran units: "Marine so strong" "Imba marauder" "Imba viking" "Marauder so strong" "Terran imba" "Imba repair" "Imba fortress"
Also, laughed a lot at his reaction to Tarson taking out 20+ probes after a nexus: "Oh, cute probe, ahhh."
I watched the video so many times. His english is actually pretty good. And regardless, he gets a huge bonus for being MC. I enjoyed this so much and it made watching the Tarson games so much better.
Wow the day 2 casting steps it up to a whole new level. Congrats MC must take a lot of nerves to cast in a language you are not particularly fluent in (although I must say out of all the korean pros he must be top 3 at least). MC fanboy here.
