BoxeR should be proud of his apprentices.

MMA will definitely have to change up his earlygame if he doesn't want to start playing from dangerously behind due to an early strong push.

He LOVES to do banshee openings, which leaves him really weak to early mass marine pushes. We saw MKP take advantage of that in the Up/Down matches, along with SuperNova (combat shield push + turrets in mineral lines to pre-empt banshees, IIRC). MMA will definitely have to change up his earlygame if he doesn't want to start playing from dangerously behind due to an early strong push. MMA likes teching right after he fe's. That's why mkp rolled over him. He made 4 rax marines after his fe vs a guy who teched to starport after his fe. If you tech up after expanding, you will die. especially against a guy like mkp.

We already saw oGsTOP admit to employing a similar tactic in his interview before playing NesTea, so likely MKP is just trying to gain an advantage in the first game or something by having MMA switch his style around and blind countering that switch.

MKP already crushed MMA in the up and downs last month

The MKP pre-finals interviews are often the same style. He says he crushed his opponent during practice (he practice with everyone :D) so he's confident. But as soon as someone prepares something to be unpredictable and to play differently than in practice, he needs 2 (lost) games to keep up.

Thing is, I don't think Top was bluffing, just no reason to air dirty laundry after the game so to speak. What I noticed was he used very specific timings in the last 2 games, which were pretty similar to how Rain beat Nestea in GSL 3. Besides, these gamers all have coaches and probably no roughly where the weaknesses in their gameplay are. So being told that your opponent's noticed isn't going to change their preparation all that much (unless they really fall for the mind games). Anyways, I'm hoping for a good match. Their games in the up/down matches didn't have the cleanest execution.

- Your thoughts on making the semifinals (round of 4)? When I looked at the brackets, the only name that popped out to me was MMA’s. I have gotten to this spot pretty easily, and as I predicted, MMA has advanced as well. Now it is about time I face the person that I thought I would have to face. Surprised he didn't see Mvp's name. That guy must be giving him nightmares
