As long as it's a Cray, it's a fine machine. ![]() Also for someone who talked about the "Infiniband interconnect"... basically an interconnect is the system by which information passes between different nodes (or sets of processors that function as one unit). These usually consist of very very fast network cards. The infiniband is just the IBM (?) branding for the specific interconnect they use. At least this is as far as I understand what an interconnect is. I'll ask more about it tomorrow. | ||
