Yeah, he was on the US National Team during the world cup, not a starter or anything but he's an okay player, its too bad he won't even mention his CS days anymore.. On June 08 2011 11:21 bEwArE wrote: Lol fucking awesome, what race does he play? Terran

He was drafted in the first round so he gets guaranteed money, and as a top 10 pick, his slot would pay him like 2.5m a year his first two years, then 3 mil a year for the next two on team option, and 4.5-5 mil on the 5th year under qualifying offer.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stuart_Holden "Holden has admitted that he is slightly embarrassed by his gaming career, stating "When I first started playing football professionally it all started to come out and I was a bit ashamed of it. I tried to hide it but eventually I've just started to embrace it. There's nothing I can do. I've deleted it off my Wikipedia page about four or five times and someone just keeps putting it back up there!"" That was from an article from April 2011 so up until recently he certainly was embarrassed by it. Safe bet is that he is probably still at least somewhat ashamed or embarrassed about it.

He may be ashamed of his gaming career, but I don't think he's ashamed of going to that university.

I believe Gunrun offered to help set him up (and people have been tweeting @ him to talk to Gunrun as well), so I'm sure it'll all work out.

Wikipedia says that the plays football (soccer) in Premier League, but some people in this thread talks about NBA which I think is basketball? This thread is about Gordon Hayward, the basketball player who just started streaming his SC2 games. The soccer player is off topic but used to be a competitive CS player before playing soccer professionally.
