Well, matches can always be boring, but if this thread shows u one thing, it is that for qualifying in the finals u need to win at least 7 out of 9 games and even then u may end up in the playoffs. There are played many games, but almost none of those games is unimportant.

My predictions A - Moon, Morrow B - July, Sjow C - Squirtle, Strelok D - Select, Ret E - Boxer, Sen (Hardest one to predict) edit - zenio gets a w/o so idra is basically out unless sen loses 0-2 and beats boxer 2-0

Top 2 of each group qualify The next 20 ranked players enter a qualifying playoff. There are 5, 4-person brackets in this playoff. The winner of each 4 person bracket qualifies for the tournament. The winner of the 1024 man open tournament qualifies.

Can someone tell me if the first tie-break is record or points? It seems like it ought to be the record, but haven't seen that listed anywhere.

If Sen loses 1-2 and idra wins 2-1, they both will have 8 points, yet idra will be 7-2 and sen will be 6-3. I am wondering who advances in that as well... it should be the one with the most series wins as opposed to the least game losses.

I'm not sure, but I believe the bottom 2 players are replaced by fresh blood? Almost, bottom 16 players in the league are replaced. They can still try to requalify in one of the two 1024 man tournaments (the one that doesn't give seed into finals).
