I'm sure there are many of you like me, watching MLG and being many excite about the fact that they have TWO excellent streams going! However, the woes quickly became apparent in that I couldn't view both at once. I was able to remedy this by doing the following:
Shift-Ctrl-B - This forces your bookmark bar to toggle off and on. For this script to be made more simple, simply turn it on and take the link below.
http://www.chromeplugins.org/plugins/google-chrome-dual-view/
Scroll a bit down on the page until the see the "Chrome Dual View." Drag this link into your bookmark bar, and you're almost there!
Ensure that you have the Red (or Blue) stream open, and the opposing stream's link copied. Click the link, and a small window will open asking for the links. It will automatically input the link to the window you are already in, and when the second pops up, all you do is paste the link to the stream you DO NOT HAVE OPEN. (If you have Red open, paste Blue, or vice versa).

i just spread them on my second flat screen 1920x1080 monitor. some good stuff though. im currently trying to make my mind decipher 4 commentators talking XD
Very cool! Thanks for the info
Whats the difference between this and just having 2 chrome windows open side by side?
Thanks for the tip m8, just made that too:D
Can you not just have two chrome tabs open?
Thats what I plan to do.
Thank you for this! Google Chrome FTW!

If you're like me and having two of everything on screen gives you an aneurysm, this is a more smooth way of having both open. It's personal preference, just giving people the option.

i wish i could mute the streams during the ads
Just went through the steps to see if I preferred it to having two windows open and I find it much nicer to watch. Means you cant browse team liquid in full screen and then switch to the tab with 2 streams which is awesome. Thanks.
i'm with yomi, i am muting one caster stream to listen to the other, then BAM fucking commercial on the muted stream.
have fun doing that, the ads (half a dozen in a row) on one stream will ruin the other. They cannot be muted and even if stream is muted the ads will appear with sound, and both streams are showing ads alternatingly.
Awesome, thanks a bunch! :D

if you're quick, you can mute before the ads get overwhelming. just takes some practice

I'm running Adblock and NoScript. I don't know which one is doing the good deed in this case, but I neither see ads nor does one of the streams cut off.

Did anyone find a solution to the player stretching the video to 16:10 aspect ratio in fullscreen if your monitor is 16:10 apart from changing my desktop resolution just for that stream? All other 16 : 9 streams are fine... looks like an oversight from MLG/the playerprovider/whomever.
...or you could watch the blue stream on MLGpro.com and watch the red stream on teamliquid.net and just have two windows open simultaneously to watch both streams. My method requires no downloading of plugin and it is quite easy to do.

I am having the same issue, looks awful because of it.

Crap, I have Adblock and NoScript as well, why do I get those annoying ads... <.<

Does anyone know if there's a way to mute a chrome window? Once the commercials start on one stream, the other stream becomes unwatchable because of the loud un-muteable commercials.

I have only Adblock and I'm not getting ads. I didn't do anything special, but at least it narrows it down to which one actually works.
I don't understand, why don't you just have 2 windows, 1 stream in each, and half screen them?

Yup yup ^^

Is anyone experience pauses in the stream? It keeps hanging up on me.... T_T
The problem is being able to mute stream when you want, there is no control when the commercials begin. I just have one stream on the notebook and the other on the main computer, then I can mute the computer when I want

Me too, looks terrible on fullscreen, ruining it for me.

A tip: open both streams in a different browser. You can then mute one of the browsers in the windows sound mixing thing. So ads wont bother you.
My blue stream is showing non-stop commercials? Is that happening for anyone else or am I missing Losira vs. TLO?

This is what I'm doing as well. One in Chrome, one in Firefox and muting with the volume mixer is working splendidly.
Is there a URL that can be used to stream to VLC (or other player) or similar to the TL link that I can popout. Hate being stuck on a webpage and not being able to resize the video directly.

Still getting commercials with AdBlock on Chrome, by the way.
Hero! This is pretty cool.... however, I am sadly enough still experiencing pauses )actual pause, no lag. showing MLG logo) in both of the streams.... what could cause this? Laggy internet?
This is great! Thanks, however I have a question, is there a way to enlarge the both streams to like cover half in one and half in other, without fullscreen?

Ctrl up on the mouse scroll will zoom you in, but it may have distortion in the pixels depending on the resolution you're operating at.

I have the same problem but once I switched them both to low its fine.

Hmmm... I was already watching on low, but good/bad to know I am not the only one that experiences this...

Sorry, but this doesn't solve the non-mutable commercials that one will stream will have interrupting the other. I solved this by opening each stream in a different browser and using the integrated sound controls in Windows 7 to individually mute each browser.

Weak connection. High quality uses about 4.5 - 5.5 MBit, low hovers between 0.8 and 2 for me.

what resolution is the HD and SD?

That is awesome, thanks for the tip OP

good to know
video quality doesn't come close to what would be expected of those bandwidth numbers, but I can only run dual LQ streams and attempting HQ + LQ results in stutter of both streams

but then I cant comment on T-L at the same time... Looks like I'll just do the ghetto way. lol

But tbh, the low quality stream is actually pretty good. It's a bit blurry but not nearly as bad as the low quality stream on jtv and such where you get drowned in artifacts and just miss stuff all the time because you're waiting for the next keyframe. And it's not Octofail so that's pretty nice.

Wow this actually works amazingly I didn't event think of that! TL once again solving all the problems thx!
Where do I find this option? I looked through the Control Center, and I don't seem to be able to find it.
What I've been doing is having one open in Firefox and the other in Chrome, that way you can mute the actual browser through the windows 7 sound option that way commercials can't interrupt you!
Awesome!! Works like a charm!!!
Good idea if you don't want to manage multiple windows of Chrome
However, if you dont mind the management, you can just open up 2 windows If you have WIndows 7, its even easier; you can drag windows to the left and right side of the screen and itll automatically split it down the middle for you
nice thanks for this, makes viewing better ^^
LOL, I did that since the start of MLG xD I actually thought everyone knew how to do it. Anyway, glad to see you are sharing this secret with everyone!. It is pretty cool people, not only for this, but also to read news or watch a stream and look at news also

And, just for fun, here's what my second monitor looks like with two Firefox (+ Pentadactyl) windows side-by-side (along with some empty desktop space on the left that I was too lazy to crop out):
