The fact that MMR is hidden is a joke. It makes everything everyone is talking about pure speculation. Your ‘best guess’ is that it’s working as it should and you need to lose to move up? Seriously… you need to lose? I get the concept of it needs to stabilize.. but the system should be smart enough to recognize you don’t belong in the league you’re in if you’re playing people two ranks higher. I agree with the person on here that it seems as though they’re picking certain days to “enable” promotions/demotions… It makes sense because when you get put in a league it seems like all of the other members of that league are placed there within a couple days of each other.. as if it’s grouping players together.. maybe there’s some stupid algorithm involved and if you don't get promoted it's because your grouping doesn't match an already exsisting league.. so it’s waiting for one of those ‘enabled’ days to group you.. who really knows? | ||

Just because I don't want to stir a shit storm, I won't reply to show you how wrong you are. On topic: Right now I have about a 60% win ratio on ladder over ~150 games played and I thought I'd get promoted to GM soon since I play GM's once in a while but it doesn't seem like it. I hate how I can't view the GM ladder to see whose on the bottom of it to judge if I can get promoted or not. To me, it feels like getting promoted to GM is purely based on luck once you get to a mid/high masters level. You have to finish a game the moment somebody gets to 180+ bonus points in GM league and be above the lowest MMR player or else you can't get in because there are no free spots. Seems like a silly system to me. | ||

i.e when i was ranked in silver i kept meeting top gold, gold i met top platinum and so on, i dont believe this is a bug since it kept promoting me in a rapid pace. however, when i eventually got to plat, i kept playing top 5 diamond players, and for the past 20 games ive been meeting anything from rank 1 and 2 diamond players and all the way up to top 20 master players with no promotion for over a week. I now have around 1250 points and obviously im ranked #1 in my plat div. Something seems to have stagnated during the last week. | ||

same thing happening to me top diamond for like a month(1v1) playing against all middle to high masters win like 70% of the time still diamond SAME THING HAPPENING TO ME [insert fuuuuu meme] | ||
