Details: Create a "How to use Sc2gears" video starting with downloading and extracting Sc2gears, followed by setting it up. Show/explain the most common and useful features of Sc2gears and present most of the features in a logical order (the more the better).
PRIZES
3 winners will be awarded with prizes worth a total of 52 USD offered by me:
-You have to know Sc2gears well (else you won't be able to make a good video). -The video must be recorded on Windows. -Use the latest (5.0.1) version of Sc2gears and use the English language in Sc2gears. -Comments must be in English. -Use HD quality if possible. -Concentrate on being easily understandable, explain everything you can.
DEADLINE
Sunday May 1, 2011 midnight (GMT)(may be subject to change if contestants need more time)
Winners will be announced by Tuesday May 3, 2011.
TERMS AND RULES
-The video has to be provided as a file. It will be uploaded to YouTube by me (to avoid potential abuse), but credit will be given of course. -Even if you don't win your video might be linked/included on the Sc2gears site. -If there is only 1 contestant, the Bronze package will be awarded; if there are only 2 contestants, the Silver and the Bronze packages will be awarded. -You can give away your prize to anyone if you do not want to use it.
Ok, added a few days to the deadline. It can be changed later too if contestants need more time, but it should be decided earlier so everyone has the same amount time to prepare and to make the videos.

I created 4 separate video's each looking at something different about Sc2gears. For what was originally going to be a quick little project, turned out to be hours of work. I really hope others participated as well.
Here is a video with the previous 4 spliced together. But in my opinion, it's better to give the information in smaller chunks so that people can pick and choose what they want to learn. It also leaves room to create more video's in the future.
AVI's of the video's can be uploaded upon request.

The video which shows to extract to anywhere... in that video you extracted it to "C:\Program Files". It is stated on the downloads page that it's not recommended to extract Sc2gears to special folders like "C:\Program Files" because some users do not have write permission in that folder which will lead to Sc2gears not being able to save settings and other files. Can you redo that video using a neutral folder like "C:\Sc2gears" or "C:\utils\Sc2gears"?

Ahh, I didn't think the rule applied to sub-folders within "C:\Program Files." But anyways, here's a video of Sc2gears being extracted to: "C:\Sc2gears"
