Definitely looking forward to seeing more of these if they occur. Also, Not to be immature, but is that really an appropriate acronym for the tournament? Not entirely sure if this has been mentioned before, not even sure if this is actually where it started, this is just an anecdote: I recall watching Huk's stream a few days ago, and when he met a fOu member on ladder, he was talking with him at the start of the game, mentioning if they would like a oGs vs fOu soccer match...and the fOu player accepted Huk's request, and they would continue on joking about who is the best soccer player on their respective teams etc.

The physics behind the control of the soccer ball make me so confused but the pro players can control the ball like a missile. The only reason the US hasn't accepted it yet is because American Football is king, and people do NOT like change, whatever university you go to you are bound to it by life and must cheer for them... unless they are losing of course Firstly, good on to fOu & oGs! Really nice pitch to play on. To the quoted post, I think you have the conceptions backwards. Soccer is the most commonly played sport in the USA, and by a huge margin. It's something like 80% of all 6 to 12 year olds have played organized soccer. However, as a professional sport, Baseball far pre-dates organized soccer. At the turn of 1900, the collegian sports started to take hold in the US and slowly developed into the pro Football & hockey leagues we have now. The only major, organized sport to predate Baseball is actually Union Rugby. Which is where American Football is based from. We, however, developed the Forward Pass. That's mostly where that came from. (Btw, Aussie Rules Football is insanely large amounts of fun to watch) So, most everyone has played or knows something about soccer. It's more a matter of Football & Baseball were well entrenched long before professional Soccer was around. Professional Soccer & Basketball really came about at the same time, which is mostly a post-WW1 thing. And, a point a lot forget, Soccer is a spectator sport, not really a TV sport. It's much like Hockey in this regard. There's a lot of individual, subtle things, happening on the field for the entire match, and until HD TV, you really couldn't see them. Soccer is doing better in the States now, because of HD, but it's still a "highlight reel" sport, and, frankly, it's more enjoyable to watch that way.

I think oGs needs to bring along HuK, Jinro, and NaDa next time. HuK probably has nice Canadian soccer skills, despite being short. Jinro is buff, and I heard that he works out. I also heard that NaDa has a nice body (*obligatory reminder about the NaDa's body thread*).
