Maybe if enough of us were to email them they would change their mind and either commission you to create some for them to sell or take their cut of your earnings. I would think this would be a good place to start: merchandiselicensing@blizzard.com

(love there games) however I did successfully get permission to make and sell Riot IP (intellectual property) aka League of Legends champs on the way! however i am always available for commissioned work all you have to do is email me letting me know what you would like made and I start working!
