"Dear Day9"

Wrote and recorded a song taken from John Prine's "Dear Abby", with verses taken from day9 dailies and state of the game podcast. For anyone wanting a non-rap day9 song, here you go.

Not the greatest sound quality and the levels are a little off, but I figured I'd post it first, maybe edit it later.

Lyrics are funny, "this isn't some frat boy game like Halo 3" and the pylons/probes in sleep are great.

The last verse blew my mind. I cannot express how funny that rant was hearing it for the first (2nd... 3rd..... 7009th) time. Great song I like that you made the song acoustic, it is a nice break from the other songs people are making even though those are good in their own right.

I just have to applaud you for going in a different direction than so many of the other ones recently. I haven't been a huge fan of the StarCraft dubstep movement, lol.

And, really, it's better than you think. Good job!

Great, love the guitar, the lyrics, you've got a great voice. I can't complain about anything other than a few sound qualities that make some parts in audible the first time around (but on closer inspection you can make out what it is).

Eh, Might be better to keep the distaste for the dubstep movement in the plentiful sc2 dubstep threads ;p
