I think the best solution for e-sports as well as for GOM as an organization would be to invite players from as many different countries and cultures as possible. This would boost the number of subscribers from the countries having a representative in GSL.
I would love to see more swedish players but since Jinro is allready there GOM should pick a player from a different nationality if they are to choose between two players percieved as equally good.
Good candidates: Brat_OK (Russia) White-Ra or Dimaga (Ukraine) HuK (Canada) TLO or Socke (Germany) DeMusliM (GB) Fenix (Peru) MoMaN (France) Naama (Finland) Mana or Tarson (Poland)
Other players I would love to see in GSL but which who probably should not be invited due to having their country representated allready: SjoW, MorroW, HayprO, MaDFroG (Sweden) iNcontroL (USA)

Honestly though, this is what the GSL World Cup or whatever it's called is for, where they're inviting 8 Koreans and then 8 foreigners, two each from four regions.

Haypro and HuK, because then we would have a foreigner team the gtsl

my picks for consideration: BRAT_OK (Russia) Fenix (Peru) HuK (Canada) Kas (Ukraine) Naniwa (sweden) - as much as i hate to say it, he's been performing really well as of late MaNa (Poland) DIMAGA (Ukraine) Sen (Taiwan) MaDFroG (Sweden) - hasn't been performing much as of late but he has my wc3 bias :3 KiWiKaKi (Canada)
my top 4: 1) Brat_OK 2) Kas 3) HuK 4) Naniwa

People need to stop saying White-ra and Tyler can't come because they're married. It's up to them to come forward and say that they can't come *if* they get invited.
If people want to see them at the GSL and they deserve the invite (which imo they do) then they should carry on making that opinion heard.
I'm sure GSL organisers are capable of having backup invites.

Spending a month of your life on a rare opportunity to boost your career and potentially win a nice chunk of change is GOOD for a marriage.
If my wife had a chance to move away for a month for some special residency at her dream job, I'd be pissed if she didn't do it.

Both Tyler and White-ra have said they will not go. Tyler has said this multitple times. So yes people can keep saying they won't go because they themselves said so.

I actually like the idea of a small non-Korean tournament held online.

It is for them to decide, which is why GSL should invite Tyler and then he and his wife can decide. He deserves the invite more than any other foreigner to be honest. If he doesn't want to do it he can just say so and they can invite someone else.

If a moderator or administrator had the time. It might help GomTV and the community if we could some how collect all the votes and ideas posted over nearly 100 pages, remove the players that have confirmed they would be unable to attend, and present the data in a more easy to observe manner.
I could be wrong, but I do not know if GomTV is honestly going to sift through over 100 pages of content to figure out who should and should not get invites. Just a suggestion.
*Edit* missed the spoiler tag hidden poll on the front page. Disregard.

Of course it's their decision. Just pointing out that living and working in Korea and participating in a month-long prestigious tournament in Korea are too different things.
You're the one making assumptions about what Nony would or wouldn't do, by the way. I'm just stating my opinion.

Huk was considerd the best player from NA when he left for korea so he should get a chance imo.
