If you're talented enough, and work hard enough, you'll become pro. But that first part is the kicker. There are very, very few with an inherent, natural talent superior enough to propel them into those pro ranks. I'd rather focus on becoming the best I can possibly be, without delusions of personal grandeur. My .02... IPA

29.5 hours a week I can spend playing ladder, custom, tournaments, watching replays, day9 tournaments and so on. (Beyond these 29.5 hours, i can go to school, do homework, get exercise and so on) And with motivation and really playing these 30 hours one can get far, or am i wrong? I have gotten 2nd in a swedish tournament and it has "whetted my appetite" so to speak. I think you can get great if you want to and set up goals for yourself. Go with what you love, and do it to 100%!
