In fact, I don't know whether any of the players are who you think they are. I just TLPDized the ones that were likely.
However, I will say this: Remember the big deal over MarineKing/FoxeR using BoxeR's name? I would think the players would be a bit more careful and make some original names by now. So personally, I do think Genius is the Genius we know and love (or hate).

Well you could have said the same thing about fOu before GSL 3...then they come out of nowhere and get six players in the ro32. I wouldn't be surprised to see some of these guys making a name for themselves next year.

I don't know how I can make this any more clear: SlayerSGenius is NOT THE SAME GENIUS as the GSL and Blizzcon Genius. The one we all know and love is 엔에스피지니어스. He is a member of the NsP clan, and not the sls clan.

This isn't a competitive team yet. Boxer said that he wasn't going to take players from other teams/clans, so obviously they're mostly going to be no-namers or guys who are teamless by circumstances (like the Werra guys). Clearly he's starting out slow and trying to build up a team from the ground up, instead of raiding other teams for good players.

Yeah there have been a couple reps of a relatively high-rated protoss named NalRa pop up, I asked one of the bw rep analyzers to look them over and he said it was inconclusive. I haven't been watching much gisado recently so i can't comment on that.

I'm pretty sure people enrolled in army still have a little bit of free time, maybe have a couple weekends off here and there and he plays during that time. As far as I know, he's been confirmed to have played a couple games on the gisado stream, and owning it up too.

Isn't SlayerS a clan, not a team? Hopefully a formal team is formed from this group. Boxer seems to want to focus primarily on playing and improving his own game so I hope there are good managers that Boxer can rely on. There is all this pressure for Boxer to perform well himself and develop some uberteam. It'll be interesting to see what he decides to do for 2012. Good luck Boxer! Good luck SlayerS Clan!

It looks like Boxer is hand-picking these rookies that qualify for the GSL and impress despite not being in a clan or team. Good call, good move, even if Boxer fails to be as big in SC2 as he was in BW, he will definitely still be relevant, and these kids are the ones who would benefit the most from his experience.

I hope Nalra makes a serious go at it at some point (if he's not coming back to bw, that is). When I first heard the big promises of SC2 being for strategic/intelligence over high apm/pure mechanics, resurgence of older gamers etc, Nal Ra was the first guy that came to mind.
Slayers clan looking interesting. I wonder what the structure is like, beyond just having his namesake. I hope everyone involved can improve faster as a result, including Boxer!
