GOMtv.net will provide the live broadcast of STARCRAFT II Open Season 2 Finals in both English/Korean.
The GSL Finals are finally almost here and we know a lot of people are getting excited.
In order to provide the Finals more vividly to our viewers we will provide the live broadcast of the STARCRAFTII Open Season 2 Finals in both English/Korean at 6:15pm KST(GMT+9), Nov. 13th.
In the live page of our website, the English broadcast will be linked to the usual tabs 'HQ Live', 'SQ Live', and 'SQ Live Test'.
The Korean broadcast will be linked to the new tab 'HQ Live(Korean)'.
The broadcast starts at 6:15pm but the actual Finals matches will start at 7pm KST(GMT+9). From 6:15pm to 7pm an opening program will be broadcasted and it will be only in Korean. So please tune in at 7pm if you just want to watch the Finals and at 6:15pm if you want to watch the opening program despite of the language being in Korean.
Try out the Korean broadcast to feel the competitiveness and the heat of the finals and to watch the passionate Korean commentators.
* The Korean live broadcast is provided for our season ticket holders outside of Korea and due to the fact that this is a test stream, there may be temporary difficulties with connection and the service may be cut off.

It's 10 am for you since we both live in Holland.
The actual finals seem to start at 11 am.

You are in your right to whine and be angry at GOMTV's bandwidth to us. I have more then enough bandwidth to take on HQ of theirs, yet it lags out so easily. Usually I just have to stop watching and use the VODs later. It's really not much an improvement from last season.
Kind of surprised they can get away with this crap. I only hope they can take this feedback seriously and apply better bandwidth for us.
Oh, and korean commentating for the win, much more energy there.

It's still not clear to me which stream to watch if I want to have John and Jay's live translation... I think the English stream at 6:15 but I'm not sure.

I paid the season ticket expecting to enjoy it in HD and it proves impossible due to the lag on their server (my connection could easily support it). something along the lines of Octoshape (p2p based) could help, at least for foreign customers!

Since it's finals, the games probably won't be starting until 5:00am I would imagine. There will be some ceremony ect. before the games actually start.

Last season they had a short interview with the two finalists, as well as their parents on screen talking, saying stuff like "You can't beat my son (Fruitdealer's Mum)!".

I have installed the latest GOMtv Player and even tried to manually download and install the GOMtv streamer and yet sure as hell when i click on the stream my gomplayer pops up and lets me know that it failed to install the streamer i just installed manually 5mins ago.
Can you please get a solid working way to watch your official streams so i dont have to rely on a re-stream?

had the same problem with the error code
but works now fine just try to connect many times

The SQ stream is showing connections are maxed out.
I tried the SQ Live and am getting some file problem with the GOM Player. Never had an issue before. I don't want to pay for the HQ version only to see issues.

I've paid and I'm watching the SQ stream because the HQ one comes with the error just mentioned. But now it's just stopped entirely...

apparently I messed up the times starting of the stream =! starting of the SC2 show.

I can confirm reinstalling will fix the error. After you reinstall it will ask to install the GOM tv streamer, then it should work.

I get this every single time when I click HQ stream before having opened SQ live test. If I have SQ live test open and then click HQ it works fine*.
*"fine" meaning it will connect, but it's choppy the more viewers there are because GOM servers can't handle the capacity.

Likewise, I can't believe they still haven't sorted it. I'd imagine most of the stream watchers are infact European due to it being at a sensible time in the EU yet we still get treated like ass when it comes down to it.

The US times are more sensible imo. 2 am is a far more common time to be awake at than 11 am for real gamers.

Yup, i can't watch either. I sure won't be paying for next season. Even had to wait for the HQ vods to load for like 15 mins per vod before i could watch. And i have 100/100.

I just can't get my Gom player to work. It always says it can't connect to the stream, and can't download the special thing for the test streams so I can't use that either.

Nah, it seems GOMtv is unwatchable for specifically Scandinavians. Don't get why. But i have a super fast connection, and it's choppy for me too.

That's nice, but it's lagging for me right now (HQ), and I have a 30Mbit connection.

If you are having lag issues using the GOM tv player try pausing the stream for a minute or two. It will preload a bit and run more fluently. Works for me thus far...

The Korean steam appears to be lower quality than the "regular" HQ stream, but it doesn't buffer every 2 seconds.

Why didn't foxer just play straight up, marine tank would win if he just played the game he knows. Very disappointing games overall, i just saw foxer do desperate/gimmicky strats that honestly was not $87k worthy.
