starlight breaker has no style compared to the other maps, id like to see the green spread out more and maybe do some distinct changes to certain areas of the terrain.
gods garden is just way to open in the outer middle zones.

How is match point in good standing? if anything it is one of the more imbalanced maps from the iccup map pool

edit: also when is itc coming back

We have not seen this imbalance you speak of really. We have had a nice split of racial wins on this map. But we will continue to monitor it.

And soon hopefully.

the image for starlight breaker may need to be resized - it's at 1200 width while all the others are at 590, meaning you can't see the whole map without opening up the image in a new window or tab

mp is like my favourite map in the list. Nearly always produces epic games.

I've seen very little imbalance as well tbh.

Also yeah, i really like MP, and generally all iccup maps give cool and long macro games, keep up a good work.

Haven't been really able to play SC2 for almost 2 months (gg overtime), but what's up with iCCup map pool rotation? Is the "rotation" for the map available in the custom games? Or for Tournament? Because there is no iCCup ladder like BW so I'm kinda mixed up.

Anyhow, still suck that it is hard to find a partner on most of these map using the custom (US). I'd love to be able to play them more often.

I think big maps are great and all but spacing between terrain is too big. For Bw it made sense because units were retarded and pathing wasn't great but for sc2 it's whole diffrent story.

I mean God's Garden. What the ---. It would be great for BW, but not for Sc2.

God's Garden looks very open, which is uncharacteristic of Blizzard maps. Is there any indication that this might be zerg-favored? (especially with the protected natural)

these maps really need an endorsement by some high level player. Even if 1 of these maps made it into the pool of a major (MLG, IEM, hell, even GSL) tournament it would vastly help the community as a whole.

In early october there were a few maps that were at least on the front page of 1v1 custom, but as of right now there isn't a single map that has more than 7 games/hr. It's making it hell for me to practice, as there is a local tournament coming up that is using the map pool exclusively.

If anyone on NA wants to play some games on these maps with me send me a PM or whisper KMoney.192. I have only 1350 points on ladder, but I havent laddered in several months and have a 450 bonus pool. Accounting for inflation, that puts me around 1700-1800 in skill level.

I'm working on some MAJOR stuff for 2011, details to come in the following weeks, but trust me these maps are about to become A LOT more popular soon.
