I think I was 100-47 when it moved me up, and I was beating 1700+ diamond players non-stop for the last ~15 wins of that record. If you do well against equally rated diamond players, it keeps your ranking close to that rating.

Keitzer United States2509 Posts November 24 2010 05:03 GMT #93 it shouldn't matter ya? because your pool is the same since the ELO (or MMR) is very similar to when you were in Plat (or whatever the old league was). so basically the only difference is the points which shouldn't matter because if you play enough, you will eventually get so high point wise that you won't even worry about it anymore

Yurie 12023 Posts November 24 2010 05:03 GMT #94 Like 600-> 200, was a while back. Doesn't it depend on which diamond division you enter? If you enter a good one you lose a lot, if you enter a mediocre one from a high platinum you lose little.
