An Evening with Day[9] and Husky (Plus State of the Game)

WHERE: Cat Theatre

WHEN: Sunday, Mar 13 3:00am GMT (GMT+00:00) (will probably go on around 2 hours, maybe more)

Celebrated professional shoutcasters Day[9] and Husky are coming to PAX East to demonstrate the excitement and energy of StarCraft 2. They will be casting the StarCraft 2 finals of the PAX Liquid Showmatch Series. Featuring four top players from the international pro team TeamLiquid: liquidtyler, liquidhaypro, liquidjinro, and liquidtlo, all competing for a $500 first place prize. The attendees of PAX East will be the first people to see these exciting matches! After the event, join the casters and the State of the Game crew--JP McDaniel and iNcontrol--live on stage for some post-match analysis and a Q&A with the audience.

Eastern time zone I assume since it's at PAX East, which I think is 4am CET.

Day9 and Husky casting together... that sounds pretty sweet. One of audience members should definitely ask Husky how he feels about the fact that the SotG often belittles him, HD and TB. I think that would be priceless. xD

The more IdrA is on this show, the better. I like hearing from him, despite how biased some of his opinions can be. I think it's a nice change from, Geoff and Tyler. Unfortunately, I'd be even more happy if Day[9] was more active on the show, as I tend to like the things he has to say and his reflections on the game. He might not have top-notch metagame knowledge, but he knows RTS fundamentals, and I really appreciate that insight.

You say that as though iNcontrol, Tyler, and IdrA don't know RTS fundamentals.

I don't mean to imply that, actually. They just don't talk about those fundamentals, or at least not as much as Day[9] does. I'm sure IdrA and Tyler know even more than Sean, they're just far less vocal about that knowledge.

Explaining the basics or fundamentals of any expertise requires some practice. A lot of experts take their knowledge for granted. Sean and Incontrol obviously have the most experience explaining SC2 to noobs.

Will there be a live stream, VODs or anything for those of us not going to PAX?

So Tyler wont take part in the post-match analysis/Q&A? Even though he is there playing? Sadface.

Husky and Day9 I think can have really strong synergy if Husky isn't nervous like at MLG Really looking forward to that.

Well my mind was just blown, glad ill there to see this. Just had to make sure the commuter rail would run late enough that i could get home and still be able to see everything. I'd have to leave by 11 but oh well ill get to see the majority of the action and thats good enough for me.

Wawawawow. That should be amazing. Husky for play-by-play/color and Day[9] for analysis.. best of both worlds!

Wish I could go..
