Look at the Carrier and Battlecruiser during WoL. Blizzard buffed,nerfed, and made changes to the Battlecruiser to try to make it work, even though it worked somewhat well but they tried to make it better. Now, we look at the Carrier. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall Blizzard buffing, nerfing, make changes to the Carrier to try to make it work but instead of doing either of those they just remove the unit for HOTS and then put it back in HOTS because the outcry was huuuuuge. Then and only then did they make changes or a change to the Carrier. Now lets look at the Warhound. Blizzard barely did anything with the unit. How many times did they nerf, buff, make changes to the unit? Not a whole lot. They didn't even put in the time and effort to try to make the unit work, to try to balance it out. Instead they just take out the unit. Blizzard could have done so much more then what they did to the Warhound. Such as, reducing the base damage to a reasonable amount to where they aren't all that effective against bio units and giving them a +mechanical damage. They could have made Haywire missles an upgrade and made it so you fire it manually instead of it firing automatically. The Warhound suffered the same fate like the Carrier but it got somewhat more changes and it isn't coming back. We should at least appreciate that Blizzard is trying to make the Hellbat work. Trying to balance it out instead of taking a drastic decision such as removing it like they did with the Warhound and the Carrier(before it was ressurected). I'm sure alot of Terrans will be angry if they lose yet another unit even though I highly doubt they would remove another unit. | ||
