There's a difference between whining and discussion. Let me know when SotG is a whinefest. Idra doesn't count. I can't wait until unparseable time format!

I enjoyed Day9 and IdrA's heated (as heated as nerds can get) arguments over Zerg. Neither of them were just whining.

I'm not saying that those things aren't important, I'm just saying the above should take precedent. That is what inside the game podcast is. What is best about SOTG is that it talks about the scene not just the game.

I could be completely wrong, but i reckon SotG will return when all of that is set up properly... Yea.. I remember Sundance(CEO or MLG) saying that MLG is gonna build some Studio's around the country and his putting JP in charge, something like that. EDIT: found the vid, Also sundance tweeted about potentially building pro houses? 0.0

SoTG is like a cult podcast that has been there since the beginning of SC2 and there's just a lot of highlights, memories and even memes associated with it. I think this also addresses a lot of complaints on this topic about "racial balance" on SoTG and how it would be "so much better" if they had Zerg and Terran "representatives". Well... ITG has that, and the chemistry isn't nearly as good as on SoTG. So hopefully everyone will realize that the personalities and the relaxed, fun "vibe" SoTG has is a lot more valuable to the show than introducing some random new guy to "represent" an in-game race.

Any time there are changes on the show, there are some people that are going to be turned off by it (and, the associated concept is true as well, that no change also turns off people). I look forward to hearing from you guys again, and there are many others as well, even if they don't post to indicate such. Your instincts have proven to be good, as evidenced by the rising of SotG in the first place, from a place of relative obscurity in the esports scene. So trust those instincts. While taking feedback from the community can be helpful, and, in some cases, should be considered or regarded, ultimately this is your 'baby' to raise. Trust yourself to make the right decisions to continue to grow SotG and keep us all enthralled. ...kinda feel like there should be a 'van down by the river' comment in here somewhere...almost feels like motivational nonsense...oh well, I think the concept is there at least :p
