I've just re-installed starcraft 2. Have not patched at all yet. I don't wanna waste a bunch of time patching to have it not patch correctly. I also don't want to do that realmlist thing since i live in NA and EU might screw it up. Or should I just wait until Blizzard give further confirmation?

The patch "pc-game-hdfiles\StarCraft II Editor.exe" could not be applied. (CRC mismatch: expected 0x7bc9e9b8, actual 0x5fb426fd.)(PTCApply_BSDiff failed.) If this problem persists, you may be able to solve it by uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. If you are unable to correct this problem, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. Go to SC2Manager and load the most recent replay. (You'll probably not even be able to watch the replay, but it doesn't matter.) Close and click sc2.exe again to see your download resume! This idea occurred to me when I wasn't able to play sc2 a while back before beta closed. It somehow wanted me to download patches again, but I was sure I had them because I've been playing it a few hours ago, and I was sure there weren't any new patches out. Well I figured out when I was watching old reps, I changed the patch version of the game. So all I had to do was watch the most recent replay and it worked!

I'm in the US (Accokeek, MD, to be precise), but patched via the EU servers. (It's just slower than it would be if the US servers were up.) Also, UNfortunately, you can't start either game or map editor without the servers being up (side-effect of patch 16).

I'm just outside of Washington, DC, but downloaded from the EU servers (started from bare, too; not even so much as patch 1).

Instead of sixteen separate patch files, there's one 900 MB patch (Protoss Mothership-sized); I call it the MOAP (Mother Of All Patches). Follow the directions for Europe (it's the US patch servers that are down; the EU servers are up).

I have always gotten no disk errors while installing all the patches. Typically I just click continue and all works out. The error always happens after the patch download completes and then attempts to install. For this patch that happens at 70%. One of two things happen at this point. Either you click "continue," "try again," or "cancel" till your blue in the face. Or wait and the updating window will go away and with one click the error message will go away. Reopening the updater will result in the same process taking place all over again. The error message is Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 7c7df5f8 a2e95cf8 7c7df5f8 7c7df5f8 This maybe an XP64 issue, that is the only strange thing about my system.

Is that what everyone is getting now? Finally got it ready to go, says bnet is down. I had to get the last patch by following the last steps of the op. Thanks!

OK, I am dumbfounded by this fix. All I did was change the drive letters of my card readers from F and G to Z and Y.... Problem gone. Dumbfounded.

Installing Blizzard Updater at "C:\Program Files (x86)\StarCraft II Beta\" on Wed Jul 07 20:11:22 2010. Error: The file "C:\Program Files (x86)\StarCraft II Beta\Support\..\Updates\sc2-13891-15976-x86-Win-enUS-game" appears to be corrupt. You may need to download this file again. That was my 10th try. I delete the file and try again but get the same error. It's a 763 MB file so starting to get a little irritating.

Blizzard Updater was unable to read the file "Versions\Shaders852121\deltaCache.bin". This error may be caused by problems with the media or drive at <unknown>--for example, a scratched or dirty CD-ROM/DVD-ROM, hard drive corruption, or a networking problem while downloading the update. (The error code was 0.) : DecompressJob::Execute() so wats wrong,i am at the latets patch right now.T_T
